I think a lot of us have days like this
All I have done this morning is bake:
two lots of sourdough bread now on their second rise
a date and walnut loaf
a big tray of energy bars ready to bake
I have had my lunch. Hm soup and hm wholemeal bread and a pear
and I`m still feeling tired even though I slept well last night
so now I think I`ll give in and read a book after I have prepared the veggies for our evening meal
How do you cope when you have an off day?
Kittie, I know how you feel. How do I cope? Probably not as well as you by the sound of it. I'm having an off day today as I think I've got a bit of a virus. (Everything aches, my skin feels sensitive to touch etc.) I've sorted out my menu plan for the week, put the curry in the slow cooker, played with my son and spent as much time lying on the bed feeding my newborn as I could manage!
But I can't put it off any longer. Morrisons is calling...
I hope you feel better soon.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -

Afternoon everyone.
Happy Birthday Soba. I hope you're having a lovely day!
We had a lovely, if tiring, weekend. Snowy and the Aussielasses came here for dinner on Friday night and we all stayed up far too late! On Saturday we all went to the St Patrick's day parade.....the first time I've ever been to one and then we spent a leisurely afternoon at the St Patrick's centre and visiting his grave before going out for tea.
Mother's day was relaxing....lots of snowy blizzards interspersed with bright sunshine, so we just lit the fire and had a lazy day. Ds2 was the only one who ventured out and only came in to change his wet clothes before going out again. Dd cooked her first roast dinner and it was scrumptious.
Today I've just been trying to put the house back together after the weekend althought it's a public holiday here and ds1 and dd are off school so they've been getting under my feet. Tonight we're having an organic chicken that I got reduced from £7 to 10p and then unfortunately I'm back to work this evening after having almost a month off....it's going to be a bit of a culture shock!
I hope you are all having a good day and hugs to those feeling under the weather or having a difficult time.

Just finished work, WM is on, uniforms ironed for tomorrow, will start prepping the veg for dinner.
Still cant find the thread for butter nut squash recipes!
Had a busy day at work, and had a customer complain beacuse I spelt "cheque" in-correctly. I wrote "check" !My manager just laughed. I new Id done it, but after writing the cust an essay of appointment times, amount costing, etc! I hoped that she wouldn't noticed (too long to have written it again) - but of course she did! There is always one!
Hope OH will be in a better mood later, i think I might endure him to watching the whole Lord of the Rings box set! I cant stand them and I know he cant either,
Right best be off
Take care

Afternoon everyone,
I'm ffffffffffffreeezing! my electricity went of last night and is only just back on, No heating, no cooking, no hot water, no kettle for warm drinks. And there are limits to how many pairs of socks, gloves and duvets you can wear at anyone time I have found.
Oh great, it just started to snow here
As soon as the water is hot I'm diving into a nice hot bath and staying there until I feel more civilised again. Then I'm heading for the sofa with a big cup of soup, the duvet and a good book or film, depending on what I fancy at the time.
CCstar ((((hugs)))
Roz I hope have had some sleep now, good luck with the finals

Had a good weekend on the freecycling front, shifted 4 offers, got 2 things offered by others which I really will use, and one of my peculiar "wanted for project" things was fruitful and I ended up with the old inner tube I needed.
The snow is really coming down now! And my fingers are stiffened with cold!!
Stay warm

to you CCstar, I don't know what to suggest for you other than maybe some time out for yourself would help you see a soloution to your problems.

Have a big hug petal (hug)
No practical advice really, being a wee one myself. But we have this trouble with my brother.
I find that if he feels that both my parents are on his back and he has no-one who'll listen without criticising, it makes it worse. Does he have an older sister who could be the calm and gentle listener, and voice of reason?
It works for us, my lil bro will listen to me once he's been rocketed by M&D!!!
He is an only child and he used to respect his granny but she has had enough.
He accuses me of not respecting him but not respected us for three years.
And frittered away £3K on crap - when I see the debt on this board - I want to be sick when I see the waste and the attitude. My OH is weak b/stard and I hate it.An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

I am no expert in property but have lived in many types of homes, in many locations and can only talk from experience.0
