    Morning all!

Roz-V - get yoursefl back off to bed ASAP! ;)

I really hate Mondays - which is daft because I don't even work on a Monday but still get that miserable feeling and find it really hard to get motivated.

Haven't got much planned for the day. We had some snow overnight so LO wants to go out on his sledge later! Better get our acts together before the snow melts! :o

Also got loads of coupon swaps to post from www.paidtoshop.co.uk I used to end up throwing unused coupons away so it feels much better to put them to good use. I've also got some books to post from www.readitswapit.com All this swapping must be good Karma!

The objective (eventually) is to declutter the spare room so that my son can move into it well before second baby is due in July. Probably still be in the same state come June.

Anyway, better get off. Best wishes to all feeling the blues. xx

    Good morning ALL

good luck to moggins & roz

    Happy Birthday soba

Hoep everyone feels better soon mrs-mix and the same for anyone else who's poorly or down in the dumps!

Feeling rather miserable today! Yesterday started off ok, we went to OH's house to drop his mum's card/present off and we stayed for dinner. Which was nice not cooking for a change! Came back and cracked on with the housework. I went upstairs to fetch the quilt to bring downstairs to curl up on the settee & watch a film, and OH stuck the playstation on. despite me asking to watch a film, he didn't budge. So the atmosphere is rather !!!!!! at the moment!

Anyway, I tasted butternut squash yesterday for the first time. Could someone please point me to the thread/link of recipes for it please? Many thanks in advance

    Take care
    Love Emma xxx

    Morning :)

It's a while since I posted here, last week was chaos, OS was forgotten and we lived on ready meals :o

I've been planning for this week though, roasted two chickens for Sunday dinner yesterday, ate one and kept the bones to make stock, and intended to make a chicken curry or something similar with the meat off the second today.....

    BUT! *RANT ALERT*

I told the family that I would only cook nice meals if the kitchen was cleared of all washing up so I would be able to get on with cooking straight away. None of them have lifted a finger, and they've all gone to work/college/school leaving it for me (as usual  )

It's not like it would take long for 4 people working together!!!

    *rant over*

Anyway, after a snowy start the sky has suddenly turned bright blue. :) I feel better already.

    Hugs to all,

    MM

madmum33, I would make the chicken curry and eat it all yourself. Tell your family where the bread and butter is :p

    Happy birthday to Soba
Good luck moggins, I'm sure it wont be as bad as you think (hugs)
Crazychik - time to inflict the full 6 hours of Pride and Prejudice on him? see how he likes it :)

Didn't get time to post yesterday, was at church, where a £20 note went missing from my handbag  of all the places to be pickpocketed...
And then spent the afternoon packing all my stuff up into boxes ready for the big move, whenever it happens. Just felt good to be doing somehting positive when everything else was dragging along. Obviously I now have aches where I didn't even know I had muscles! Baddidas me thinks...

Only at w**k til 12, got an apt with the consultant over my IBS, and boss isn't in so... ;) (well, if they wanna make me redundant on w him they're gonna pay for it!!!)

Much love and hugs to all who need them.

Hi all. Snowy, snowy day here in Stoke. Last night was quite bad, and as we live on a very steep bank there were quite a few motorists caught out, and a couple of abandonments on the road. Hopefully school will be open today and we can pack the kids off in a while, will have to listen to the radio for news of closures.
It's my birthday today, but due to an administrative error, most of my cards are missing! Think either my self or DH have put them up somewhere safe, and can't remember where. Oh well, I guess that's what happens when you reach the grand old age of 45...!!

    Morning all

Sorry have not had a chance to read the thread yet but just wanted to say hi and hope everyone has enjoyed the weekend and has a good Monday.

I don't want to be in the office (obviously) and am already counting down until hometime... Can't believe the snow this morning! It was so pretty early on and now it's disappeared so no hassle driving to work, perfect combo.

Our computer at home was offline all weekend, MSE withdrawal

Speak to you all later. Hugs to anyone who needs them x x x
