What a waste of time, apparently the TV disconnection hasn't gone through and he's had to email someone called Andy to phone me and deal with it, that's good seeing as 'Andy' doesn't have my phone number :rolleyes: idiot! and if they think I'm going to trust them with sending me a revised bill and only taking £20 out of my account they're seriously mistaken
Direct Debit cancelled! :mad:
Oh I'm going out......
See ya laters ladies :S :wave:0 -
I've made my 2 necessary phone calls.. the local paed outpatients are muppets and that is all I am saying!
And DS2's IEP review is 5 months LATE!! AND they have just told me my Aspergers son has excellent vocabularly, high average IQ and understanding he just has trouble concentrating and getting his knowledge on paper... well f*** me.. I'd never have known that.. honestly.. I swear these people have no brains!! Apparently he works well in 1-2-1 situations too and not so well in large groups and responds really negatively to change in the classroom... no?!!???!?! really???? I said that is called 'diagnostic criteria, sweetheart!!'

Good Afternoon everyone!ShirleyPark wrote: »
Wow! How shiney are you!It looks fantastic Shirley, like a show home. I wish mine looked a little more like that - all clean and shiney. I must try harder
I keep saying I'll catch up when I'm better but I've been poorly for 2 weeks now and dragging myself off to w**k seems to take all the energy i have. it's really difficult to get yourself motivated when you wake up in the morning feeling tired isn't it?
Well, this morning I've managed to empty and start refilling the DW, 2 loads in the WM and TD, the SC on with a fruity chicken curry for after work, hoovered up & downstairs and although the bedroom hasn't had a through clean it's had a S&S which is the most I can manage before work.
See you all later."all endings are also beginnings. We just don't know it at the time..."0 -
YOU KNOW YOU ARE LIVING IN 2007 when…..
1. You accidentally enter your PIN number into the microwave.
2. You haven't played solitaire with real cards in years.
3. You have a list of 15 phone numbers to reach your family of three.
4. You e-mail the person who works at the desk next to you.
5. Your reason for not staying in touch with friends and family is that they don't have e-mail addresses.
6. You pull up in your own driveway and use your cell phone to see if anyone is home to help you carry in the groceries.
7. Every commercial on television has a web site at the bottom of the screen.
8. Leaving the house without your cell phone, which you didn't have the first 20 or 30 (or 60 or??) years of your life, is now a cause for panic and you turn around to go and get it.
10. You get up in the morning and go online before getting your coffee.
11. You start tilting your head sideways to smile.
12. You're reading this and nodding and laughing.
13. Even worse, you know exactly to whom you are going to give this list to.
14. You are too busy to notice there was no number 9 on this list.
15. You actually went back to check that there wasn't a number 9 on this list.
16. AND NOW YOU’RE LAUGHING at yourself. Go on, pass this on. You know you want to!
For all of you that need a smile today:D
LGworking hard at this thing called life0 -

Shirley - I lurvvvveeee your kitchen. In all the houses we have had I have had a new kitchen once and it was fab - not as ultra modern as yours but it was 13 years ago!
So far today I have
Got kiddies fed, dressed to preschool & collected from Preschool.
Spent 15 mins looking for my keys that DD1 had been playing with before we could leave for preschool:mad:
Put WM on x 2 (both lots pegged out)
Put BM on
Hoovered downstairs and hall (all 1 1/2 metre square of it:p )
Dusted lounge
S&S Kitchen
Watched half hour of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (again:rolleyes: )
Went to veg shop for eggs
Made beds
Not really ventured upstairs yet, I am umming and ahhing about it at the mo. We have to leave for a doctors apt at 2ish, I know it will not take long to do so really should just get up there but.......you know how it is!
I do like to do all upstairs in one go so will make coffee, put extremely loud music on and get on with it I guess. It may take my mind of this blooming house sale business. Nothing in post today and no phone call to arrange surveyor yet (it has only been 3 working days since offer but patience was never my thing:eek: ) they want to be in before 4th May, which is fine for us as moving to mums bungalow and it is empty:D
Right off to get coffee, hoover, black-bag, stardrops & cleaning cloths. Oh and 2 screws bought yesterday to fix DD2 toddler bed as Daddy knelt on it to give her kiss night night and broke it:mad: so poor love has had a box propping up bottom for last couple of nights.0 -
Lady Grim - love the list - thanks for the smile!
I am now taking the boys out to met up with a new friend for coffee and sandpit activity with a clear concience for the first time since forever - tea is ready to heat up, lunch is cleared away and washed up, most of the list is done, washing is off the line so it doesn't matter of it rains and the house actually smells clean and airy.
I don't recognise myself!Is it home time yet?0 -
Todays list:
* clear kitchen of last nights tea dishes :eek: there's not an empty bench in sight
*load DW
* wipe benches/clean floor
* Tidy living room
* clear snow off car
* master bedroom (lilme's list)
* mop hallway floor (wet snow dried up)
* pre-prepare tea
* go to shops
* help in-laws move this avo :eek:
Hello again, I'm backand in a slightly better mood than when I left (stoopid Virgin) anyway, walked in the front door to be met with an almighty whiff of something not so nice, it smells like old fish (ewwwwwwww) had a sniff about and can't pin-point where it's coming from, so, gonna clean the floor in the hallway and scrub the cloakroom (wasn't done the other day oops) and see if that helps, I'm hoping it is cause If i'm being truthful I think it might be coming from the oven that I haven't cleaned
EVER!!
ladygrim:rotfl: that made me laugh, thanks for posting it :T0 -
Pigpen I wish I could say I've never heard comments like that before, unfortunately quite the opposite, usually hear of similar comments on a daily basis. Well for a change DS1 had a half decent day at school, only violence was an attempted pencil attack on someone, oh and kicking 7 bells out of me when I dropped him off this morning.
Got some done, waiting to start dryer with my bed sheets in, DP has stolen MY extension (he says it's his) Bedroom isn't perfect but better than it was. Dropped bag of stuff at school for tombola while I was there. Left course early as we were just compiling portfolio to complete course then they were doing Easter cards, no offence to the tutor but have much more important things to do than Easter cards. Like the 4 questions I missed on my TMA when I read through it! I can't do te next course she's doing as I've already done it, so that means I have Wednesday afternoons free, for now anyway.
Right, must dash as we're mean't to be going out and need to get boys ready. I'm going to post the list for tomorrow before I go as it'l' be late when I get in.One day I might be more organised...........

lil_me I won't even discuss DS3's behaviour with them now.. when it bothers them that much they will actually DO something about it.. until then.. they'll have to put up with it. I refuse to tell him off 3 hours after an event, by which time he has completely forgotten what it was about anyway.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
