  • OK lots to do over next couple of days but as no spare room and DD does own room then Friday should be free so gives me a bit more time (depending on the extras Lil_me sneaks in though!)

    o Shopping for DD
    o WM x 2 – possibly 3: whites Thurs eve
o Ring child benefit office to change DD
o Pay in money (two accounts)
o Loft to put away radiators and get out sleeping bag for DD trip
o Put away rest of stuff on bed

o Pack up and post Belkin router
o Update diary with course dates and add to school diary on Friday
o Complete health form for DD canooing trip and write cheque
    o Chase refund

    Bathroom
    1. Clean bath, sink and toilet (inc lid, cistern and flusher)
    2. Dust bathroom cabinets/shelves and polish any mirrors
    3. Wipe down tiles, make them shine!
    4. Fling out anything empty or beyond its use by (on back of product should tell you how long shelf life is)
    5. Tidy what is left after flinging, make a note what you have too much of and not to buy, and what needs buying
    6. Vacuum/Sweep and mop bathroom floor
    7. Clean bath room mats
    8. Clean bathroom window

Todays extra, make any important calls you've been putting off. If there is any paperwork still needs sorting after the 15 minutes you did on Tuesday, do another 15 minutes

Let's see how I get on - not sure how those of you cope with big houses/families! I have a small house and one 16 year old and find it hard enough to keep up!
Proud to be dealing with my debts

Sorted out sons wardrobe and drawers and got loads for e-bay. Only DD's wardrobe etc to sort now and then onto toy cupboards. Freezing here today. I can't wait until the weather gets a bit better as I am knackered just now and I know the sun will give me a wee lift. Fed up with my lounge looking like a launderette as well:rolleyes:

    Hi y'all,

Having read what everybody has achieved in this thread, I am exhausted - yawn! Think I need to take at least the next 3 days off from housework to recover!

But definitely going to try it soon, you are all amazing!

Oh dear - a day late and a dollar short as usual :o

I'm just not keeping up with you lot. Seems I move to my own tune, so to speak LOL Mondays and Tuesdays I get nothing done around the house other than maybe 1 load of washing. I work those days, so I tend to fit the housework in to the days I'm home.

So far Thursday has seen me:
    Two loads of laundry, plus two of kids blankets;
    Dust whole house
    Vacuum whole house
Put the odd bits and pieces that have been lying around away
Buy two new towels that were on special.

    Also, from lil me's list:

    Bathroom
[STRIKE]1. Clean bath, sink and toilet (inc lid, cistern and flusher)[/STRIKE]
    2. Dust bathroom cabinets/shelves and polish any mirrors
[STRIKE]3. Wipe down tiles, make them shine![/STRIKE]
    4. Fling out anything empty or beyond its use by (on back of product should tell you how long shelf life is)
    5. Tidy what is left after flinging, make a note what you have too much of and not to buy, and what needs buying
6.[STRIKE] Vacuum/Sweep[/STRIKE] and mop bathroom floor
    7. Clean bath room mats
    8. Clean bathroom window

Todays extra, make any important calls you've been putting off. - Made DH phone ACC to sort their bill out!

  • Good morning!!
4 people turned up last night out of 12 invited (all of whom said they would def be there), had 2 late calls saying they couldn't make it - but what happened to the rest? And it was in aid of their bl**dy toddler group!! And it was a free evening out... I do wonder sometimes.
OK - on the positive side I did the bathroom last night, and so I should be able to tackle the backlog without too much stress today: and I'll have chocolate brownies to reward myself and the children with as we go. Life isn't so bad after all...
