Well I wrote a long post including a reply to you (saying you have confessed so you are forgivenand it disappeared
Sometimes I am tempted to cross something off I havdn't done (especially if only one thing missed on the list) but stop myself doing it - but I know that if I did my own list without posting I wouldn't get round to doing much (if anything!) so this helps keep me on track.
Welcome newbies neilersmc and lucyc55. I work full time but this has managed to help me keep on top of the house and most of the time it is clean and tidy now - much to DD's (and my) surprise. Don't worry about getting it all done initially. It takes a while to get on top of everything but everything comes around again so just do what you can. Great feeling to cross things off the list though ) downside is the time I spend on here when I should be doing other things!
I am off to the gym now and then work, but have managed to get a few things done (out with parents for dinner this evening so trying to squeeze it in)

Good morning everyone,
Had a good start to the day, have stripped both the childrens beds, they are washed and hung up outside (its a lovely, although cold day here). Thats all im doing to the bedrooms today, have a LO here, so dont like leaving her on her own whilst im busy upstairs, so will finish the bedrooms at the weekend. Am halfway through cleaning the bathroom and toilet and will be swishing the kitchen in a minute too.
Also want to get dinner tonight ready, so i can have a relaxing afternoon (some chance, but we can hope!!!).
Right, tea break over, off to finish the bathroom, then book reading with LO!!!!
Have a great day flying xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
Good morning, I've had both kids home last 2 days as ill so have got nothing done, so a very busy day for me today. Had very little sleep as I spent all night watching the tide get higher and higher, thinking the banks never gonna hold all that, but it did. I thik it may take a few spring tides before I relax here LOL, I kept looking out the windows and seeing other people happily cooking and watching tele, and theres me, the kids, and the dogs all upstairs just incase (DH in spain with work - typical)
So I had better get on.Always on the hunt for a bargain0 -
Well so far managed to do none of the cleaning ....
Wednesday's List
1. Check for cobwebs and dust all furniture
2. Remove bed linen and wash
3. Vacuum bedroom floor, stairs, landing and under bed
4. Turn mattress before replacing linen if required
5. Clean landing and bedroom window
6. Check if any curtains/nets/blinds need cleaning
7. Make sure everything is in the right place and you can close wardrobes/drawers
but I have
[STRIKE]Chase up income tax rebate[/STRIKE] £420 from 2004/5 on it's way, which I didn't even know I was due till they sent me a letter :j
Post birthday card to my aunt
Pack suitcase ready for flight to London on Thursday
[STRIKE]Cancel direct debit for the gym[/STRIKE] No more feeling guilty for paying for it and then never going
Tackle the huge hotspot that has appeared on the dining room table
Finish ironing so I can pack
Spend at least 15 minutes tackling my paper clutter
And I managed to get up a good hour before I normally manage to drag myself out of bed, so today will hopefully be a bit more productive than normal. Speaking to the tax man first thing definately got my day off to a good start ... never though I'd hear myself say that but it's true."Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die tomorrow."0
