He is how I imagined Christian in the books so he'd work for me, but then again Mr Skarsgard has done it for me for many years
Snap! I've got zero interest in reading the books but if he's in the film then I'll be first in line to see it :rotfl:0 -

:D
he is sooooo hot, i would let him suck me any day! what a way to go. i think he is sooooo much sexier than bill! but back to the orignal op, yeah i think that 50 shades of boring is a "sexed" up version of twilight, and lets face it.....twilight made a joke out of vampires! i mean, sparkles in the sunlight? give me a vampire who is brutal!!!!! so i am guessing that 50 shades is a watered down take on an erotic story.Raven. :grinheart:grinheart:grinheart0 -

Bill is about the least sexy person on True Blood and that includes Andy BellefleurIt's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.0 -
I have just started the third book. I enjoyed reading the other two, total escapism, it's not a heavy read as some have said but I wouldn't say it's badly written. I am, however, getting tired of the sex scenes every couple of pages, I just want to know how it ends now. (No spoilers please).
This is my image of Christian Grey0 -

Thats what I liked about the Midnight Breed and Black Dagger books, their vampires are warriors, 6ft 7" men built like brick outhouses who go out and fight for the world. Along the way they meet the women they love and fight for them etc etc etc. There is no 'lion/lamb' rubbish. They are strong independent women who often fight alongside their men.
I did read Twilight, by 'Breaking Down' I was tearing my hair out.
I imagine any movie of 50 will be better handled. The story itself isn't a bad one, its just the execution of it. As long as they drop the inner goddess crap and feature lots of Mr S in the buff with ropes I'm in0 -
I meant to ask a question. Would someone like Christian really be totally infatuated with someone like Ana in real life?
I have only read the first 100 pages of book 3, so obviously missed a lot (or have I?), but all I could think as I desperately try to keep going was that the person that was portrayed in these pages would get bored of someone like her quickly, or is it me???0 -
Much as I'd queue up to watch Skarsgard in the buff in ANYTHING, I'm afraid I'm a werewolf girl everytime and my god Alcide just does something for me!

My book group ended up making a drinking game from the first book. We had a drink every time the words 'Oh my', 'Inner Goddess', 'Foil packet', 'Subconscious', 'Holy crap' or 'Biting my lip' were used - we were drunk very quickly!
I did get the other two books just to see if things improved....they didn't.... and I ended up skipping over the repetitive sex scenes and the boring exchanges of emails.....yawn!0
