They did discuss this on Jeremy Vine yesterday, with some vile woman who said people shouldn't read it as it "gave them ideas". You should be happy with your husbands apparently and not need titillating !!!!!!. (especially about bdsm)
I almost went straight onto Amazon and purchased it. :rotfl:

Yes l heard that, she made me laugh so anti towards the books but she hadn't even read them! :rotfl: and the woman for the pro side gave away the first books ending

    Happy moneysaving all.

And what's with all the lip biting? It says she 'smiled and bit her lip'...how does that even work? Can't have been much of a smile lol. :rotfl:

I just tried doing that, it made my face twitch in a very unattractive manner. If I did it to my OH as a come on he'd think I was having a stroke (and no, not of that) :rotfl:

I believe I read somewhere that the author originally wrote twilight fanfic which is what these grew out of.

Personally I quite enjoyed the first one, not read the others, I liked it, but I didn't expect much of it, just a fun little read that was a bit saucy! It's not exactly high brow reading, but I liked it.

I agree with Ian Somerhalder as Christian, and I heard rumours that some Julia Roberts niece Emma Roberts wanted to play Ana....

I've not read it either. But I'm sick of hearing about it on Facebook. I've noticed that it was all the women who read all the Twilight stuff whos raving about it.

Just to disprove your theory I've never read (or seen) any of the Twilight series as have no interest in vampires ;) Have to confess I am enjoying the second book more as it does appear to have a bit more of a story to it rather than page after page of b0nking :D

All a bit of 'frippery' and fun and a nice break from some of the worthy tomes I usually read (just trying to prove how highbrow I can be :rotfl::rotfl:).

I read the 1st one months ago as it was a free d/load on Amazon found it a bit "bla" then everyone started talking about it and I figured the other books must get better so I bought them and again bla.

Christian Grey is a very well developed character and yes I have spent time wondering would will play him in a film, but Ana, my god she sounds so dull, by the end if I read about another bitten lip I would have screamed.

Give me a Jackie Collins or Sally Beauman for decent sex scenes!

I could get all feminist about how women have struggled for years to become equals and how at the slightest hint of a dominent man it's now ok to go all of a quiver but I dont think I can be bothered lol

I have read much steamier stuff with better more interesting people and better story lines, The Greys trilogy was a bit of fluffy reading, I really dont see the fuss.

Im onto book 2 now and i kind of hate myself a bit for continuing to read it as the storyline is pretty poor!! The only decent bits in the book are the sex scenes and after 2 of 3 of these they get a bit repetitive, but i kind of figure that i need to see what happens now so will continue to read!

If Ana says 'oh my' one more time tho i may shoot myself! :)

This just made me laugh out loud :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

As I read in bed at night, my hubby snoring (loudly) beside me does take away some of the magic lol
