    Glad the headaches gone WDIAG.

    Ooooohhh!!

You can dance, you can jive, having the time of your life
See that girl, watch that scene, dig in the dancing queen

Friday night and the lights are low
Looking out for the place to go
Where they play the right music, getting in the swing
You come in to look for a king
    Anybody could be that guy
Night is young and the musics high
With a bit of rock music, everything is fine
Youre in the mood for a dance
And when you get the chance...

You are the dancing queen, young and sweet, only seventeen
Dancing queen, feel the beat from the tambourine
You can dance, you can jive, having the time of your life
See that girl, watch that scene, dig in the dancing queen

Youre a teaser, you turn em on
Leave them burning and then youre gone
Looking out for another, anyone will do
Youre in the mood for a dance
And when you get the chance...

You are the dancing queen, young and sweet, only seventeen
Dancing queen, feel the beat from the tambourine
You can dance, you can jive, having the time of your life

Oh, thanks for that, TF. :) The club apparently does party music for the masses, none of that trance/hiphop/techno "wave your hands in the air, wave 'em like you just don't care" carry-on, so that will suit me just fine. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a bit of Abba too. :D

6 July - Well & truly knackered today. I'm paying for last night's exertions in a big way - I can still feel the beat to "I've found a place where we can boogie" going on in my feet. I got home just before 4am & had a brilliant night - a guy I wasn't remotely interested in wouldn't get lost & a guy I'd have seriously considered letting move in didn't show any interest at all. Typical. :D Girls, never take an orange juice from a man who's too persistent - I now know how the orange felt when the juice was being squeezed out of it. I wanted to scream at the persistent one "Will you please get lost?" but I couldn't as he probably wouldn't have heard me over the music. I've got no reason to think he's not a nice person usually, but he wouldn't go away & put me right off him - wanting my number, e-mail address, going on & on about giving another guy a chance etc. He was too much for me to take. The other one was really nice to chat to, & I could have talked to him for hours - great body, but quite intelligent too & he actually listened when I spoke to him instead of just talking about himself. Oh well, he's gone now, but at least he was there in the first place & he definitely upped the night in the "Thank God I came here tonight!" rankings. :D

The only drawback was having to cab it home, but it was either that or make my way home for nearly two hours in the pouring rain. That wouldn't happen at 5pm, never mind nearly 4am in the morning with very sore feet, so cab it was. It was £25 I hadn't budgeted for, so no bingo for me this week.

I've now got to drag myself into work today to finish my last assignment. My printer chose yesterday to almost run out of black ink, so I can't take the chance that I don't have enough to finish it off, as it's got to be posted tomorrow. I've got no choice in the matter, so it looks like I'll be at work all day getting the thing done - I'd far prefer to put my feet up at home as the soles hurt when I walk. Still, the pain was worth it - it felt really good to be out dancing again. :)

I'm not very good when I'm tired - I stopped at Sainsbury's on my way into work, & bit the head off two people for being more than the usual level of Sunday daft. What kind of a blurt goes into the "basket only" queue with a full trolley, is told by other people queuing that they're in the wrong queue but stays there anyway, then argues the toss at the till about not wanting to join another queue while other people are waiting for them to shift? I could see the man on the till was about to give in, but they had loads of stuff (are they running a hotel, or gearing up for Noah to bring the Ark's residents round for a visit? ) so I put my very sore feet down & sent them packing. 10 points to me. :D

I've feasted on their heads for breakfast, so it's just my lunch to eat now, then back to my assignment. :)
