7.15pm - I've finished my assignment, so I've got no more studying until at least September! :j :j I'm so pleased - once I got past distractions I could have done without & should have ignored, I just got on with it. It's within the word limit, is laid out exactly as they like it, so I'm going to be at the post office tomorrow to get the thing off Special Delivery. It has to be there for Friday, but I'm not trusting first class post with this after all the work I've put in, so the Special Delivery cost will be worth paying for the security of knowing it will get there a couple of days earlier than the deadline.

Now I've got that off my mind, I'm going to watch as much rubbish on tv tonight as my brain can stand, while wriggling my tootsies in the foot spa. My feet are still thumping, but at least the pain isn't as bad as it was. :)

Good for you WDIAG for finishing your assignment early. Unless you are watching the incredible Wimbledon match, there's not much else on telly tonight!

Many years ago I popped into Sainsbury's in Manchester somewhere for a sandwich and had the same checkout rage. felt a tap on my shoulder and it was Robbie Coltrane asking "Is this the sad singles queue?" It just put everything into perspective lol:rotfl:

8 July - Checked the Royal Mail delivery tracker & my assignment was delivered to the OU before 1pm today. :j It was worth paying the £4.60 for Special Delivery to know it's definitely got there. Part of me thinks maybe I could have delayed sending it for a day to check it over again, but the more rational part of me said that I'd done as much as I could & going over & over it would mean lots more word-counting, printing etc. I've done very good work on the other assignments, so unless I've gone right downhill I should do OK on this one. I haven't made any glaring errors, which is the main thing.

I haven't got any more OU studies until November at the earliest. I was thinking about doing a production course through the radio station as I'm in studying mode, but I think I'll give that a miss & do some decorating & decluttering at home instead, as I'd like to get this place straight before winter sets in. The production course isn't essential for what I want to do, & it's more important that I get stuff done at home, especially as I think my sister-in-law will be visiting early in August. :)

9 July - Managed to get the fax number for the RTLU out of them yesterday, so faxed my IPAQ to them with a covering letter of complaint, as that was the third time I'd sent it to them. I rang them this afternoon, & was told a letter will be going out to me today confirming that they're suspending my IPA for six months. I don't know what changes they think might happen during that time, seeing as I've not had a tip that I'm going to win the lottery jackpot & I've permanently reduced my hours for health reasons, but we shall see what they have to say in December/January. Still, at least I won't have to think about paying it for a while. :j

I am involved in the debt advice sector and whilst I have completed numerous bankrupty forms and attended many a hearing with my clients. I have never understood what someone goes through after they are officially declared bankruptcy.

You have given me some valuable insight into what happens after the initial order has been made. I don't mean about the Income payment order or early discharge etc. I mean the impact it has on a person from a personal level. I have to say your diaries have been truly inspiring to myself and no doubt will continue to do so for many others. :A

I wanted to wish you continued health, much luck and happiness for your future whether it be in singing/dj-ing or whatever direction your journey takes you.
I love to wake up and meet the day. I think that life is not to be wasted or thrown away.:D
