:rotfl:bloomin' feels like it now!
Wood pellets - used to use PAH (before it went "off") and it was quite economical but now tried various others & they don't seem to last as long - currently getting through around 10L/week.
There is a lot of wastage as mentioned before, the pellets don't drop through the holes of scoops well so you do lose a lot everytime you clean out.
I've only ever tried clumping once (when I got my 1st cat) and there was so much dust came off it, swore I'd never use it againGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

It is not about how much is it per litter which is not comparable - we are comparing 2 similar litters.
And I doubt Aldi's one would last even a day with my 4... so false economy.
It is not how much a bag is but how much it lasts with so and so many cats.
10 litres of Aldi's will never last as long as 10 litres of Oko or Tigerino so you are missing the point here.
Cheap - have to buy more of it so the cost is very often the same as buying less of more expensive stuff.
Applies to both food and litter0 -

But how long does that last you? I've spent £53 odd on enough litter to last 18 months at the very least. Works out at about 60 odd pence per week.0 -
All mine's here now and it's everywhere. I've had to put one of the big bags into a suitcase in the roof space of the garage because there's no where else for it to go!0
