DH is away at the moment (work) so it's just me with plenty of time on my hands :rotfl: Actually, I didn't see who did the wee! I'm guessing it was Harry because I was playing with Spot and Lula upstairs when it happened; Friday doesn't appear to have moved from her snoozing place and Robbie did a wee not long afterwards (in the OKO). It could have been Spot, though, as there was a spell where I was just playing with Lula as he had wandered off.... the plot thickens and I will report from the scene as soon as there is any more news.

No more news yet on the wee/poo front...0 -
**** BREAKING NEWS **** I'VE MADE MY MIND UP ALREADY!!
Well, we've had another two wees in the Tigerino and one poo.
One wee in the OKO.
I left it for ages this time. The poo was OK, as you would expect, as it doesn't clump and is just a matter of scooping out (unless runny which my cats' poos thankfully aren't) (apologies if that was too much information
)
The clumping of the wees, though, is no way near as good as OKO. I can't be doing with faffing with having 5 cats, one scoop to get the wee out is what I want but is not what I'm getting with this litter. Also, it is dustier than OKO - though I'm not sure if that's because it's inherently dustier or it's because I'm disturbing the litter more as I'm needing to do more scoops.
Tracking I would say is marginally better on the Tigerino, judging by what is in my litter tray mats, though that is not a huge benefit to me as most of the tracking goes into said mats and not onto floor.
So I will of course finish off the Tigerino, it's not unusable, but unless something significantly changes, I shan't be buying any more.
Tomorrow is the big test as I said before, so perhaps it will do better then.0 -
LOL
Now - Paddypaws????? YOUR update/verdict so far?????

Well, I have of course got a mixed tray of Tigerino and Oko so it is harder to judge for me.....
Also...to complicate matters...does anyone else find that some cat's pee clumps better than others? I have scooped 2 perfect, hard wee-muffins and one crumbly one this morning.0 -
I received mine last Thursday (very quick on the 50p extra using parcel force i think?)
Have 9 cats using it right now. I agree with fridaycat, it doesn't clump as well. I don't like it as much as Oko but it looks identical and feels the same - won't know about how good it masks smells until next week I'd say. Oko was really good at staying smell free for ages.0 -
Well, I'm back now after being out all day from 05:15 to 18:00. So all three litter trays used a lot as you would imagine.
Putting the poo aside as that just scoops out and is comparable for both, I will just discuss the wee.
The Tigerino was used more than the OKO - had 3 or 4 wees, compared to 2 wees in the downstairs OKO. But the OKO took 2 scoops to get the 2 wees out, the Tigerino around 5 - 6 to get 3 - 4 wees. I'm not being precise as it is difficult to count the wees when they break up.
Tracking-wise, they are both about the same.
Overall, it isn't an awful product and I'm not regretting buying it, but I definitely prefer the OKO. On the other hand, the Tigerino is quite a bit cheaper even at non-offer price, so is it worth paying more for slightly more convenience? Mmmm... I'm not sure, so I'll see how I get on over the next few weeks....0
