This is the same as the 0845 610 1234 number.

All the above ^^^^ is why I use a credit card for all my monthly spends. It makes sure that should this happen to my financial institution I am covered.

I hope everyone who banks with this shower of muppets get their issues sorted really soon.
I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂

mine did the same wages were paid in account friday, paid a few bills ,rent and transferred some to another account and had a look at lunchtime at now says £400 overdrawn wages have vanished of my statement , great when ive got bills going out and money going in within the next few days . the staff have been unhelpful .

It's happened to my daughter too; her salary was still in her account yesterday (Saturday) lunchtime. While out shopping in the afternoon, her card was declined for a small purchase. She checked her balance to find that it was over £1000 down and overdrawn. When she rang RBS, there was no sign of her salary-it had completely disappeared from her account as though it had never been there! They promised it would be back in today. She's still waiting....

I do not have to justify myself to you but who says we even paid for the holiday!

We saved very hard for the spending money and sold loads on ebay and we did not like everyone else expect this to happen and have all our wages gone!

Always get someone who thinks they know it all and wants to criticise and attack how others choose to live!

His reply was a perfectly reasonable comment. you've come onto a public forum to complain about your hardships having just returned from a holiday which you spent ALL your money on. if you live that close to the edge then clearly you couldn't afford to go on holiday in the first place.

Perhaps 'always' coming across people who criticise the way you live should be setting off alarm bells somewhere.

What a sanctimonious lot you are out here! I've rarely ventured outside of the Home and DIY section before.

I know which family I'd rather live with ... the one that blows all their money on a holiday, knowing that they will have salary in the bank when they get home ... or the one who sits at home staring at the walls with a few hundred in the bank, just in case the bank has a meltdown.

I'm getting really peeved with NatWest now. The problem seems to be a lot bigger than they're letting on. Internet banking is still not available ... and why are credits or debits appearing and then disappearing again??

Just been on the news here in N.Ireland that Ulsterbank are now NOT going to have it fixed on Monday, and will be the middle of next week before they finally get it sorted out.

    Absolute disgrace .

Yeah you'll find a lot of people in this section have a "holier than thou, you must run your finances like a robot or you DIE" attitude

I find it best to ignore them ;):D:beer:

Thanks Dave - I will - I just feel for the woman who returned home to find she unexpectedly had no money; only to be attacked on here for complaining about it! I think we have a right to expect our banks to work properly, whatever our own finances are like.

But - woo hoo! I take back my above statement about NatWest. Online banking is back up and running and I have transferred most of my money out of my account.

Doubt if I can be arsed to move my account, though. I'd expect NatWest to be one of the most careful banks from now on!:p
