Ulster/RBS Bank problems

I wonder who they have paid money to the account? people who work for the bank? and maybe their friends and family?
one thing for sure- not to us, the people who live with a weekly salary ... not to mention the people who are depending on benefits...0 -
They should give us some bonus (at least £ 30) for the late payment. if i would be late 1 day with payment even the word ,,sorry'' would not help. what they are expecting??!! that i will say ,,ok, no problem''??!!
Tomorrow I should get ctc and cb... Im wondering ... and I do not believe...0 -
The Northern Bank closed our local Bank, which was well used and convenient. It moved the accounts to a branch about 6 miles away in a place where you need to pay to park. Barclay's have a Bank Manager who works part time. Ulster Bank keep moving their Business liaison (or whatever he is now called) manager from one place to another. Not a bad fellow, but how can he seem credible? I expect him to be given the broom cupboard next time I see him. It is not a proper service for customers and not right for their staff either.
The service offered by many of these banks suggests little regard for local customers, and building local bases. Internet Banking isn't everything and many, particularly the elderly, and cranks like me who consider it potentially insecure, don't like using it. More fundamentally what was wrong with the idea of local banks and managers who knew their customers?
Northern did the same in Donaghadee,it's a bl00dy disgrace when you think about the saleries the top cats in banking make.0 -
There has been no apparent update to the accounts since Wednesday, which reflected transactions up to 20th June. Does anyone really think that 10 days of transactions are going to be caught up over the weekend (just stated on UTV news) - I'll eat my hat!!
I thought when things changed on Wednesday the ball was beginning to roll, all that happened to me on Wednesday was as you say brought it up to 20th June, Everything has came to a stand still, OK maybe if you heard reports of a few people getting money etc it would give you hope but no one is getting anything, nothing appears to be moving anywhere.
PS what time does the bank open on a Saturday? I can't hold out any longer, my wife went in during the week, the bank has 7 available desks for assistants, only 2 were working and people cued out the doors and up the street, useless:mad:0 -

Don't know if these will have anything new/different which those of you with Ulster Bank won't already know, but both pieces look new within the last few hours:

Perhaps there is a lesson in all this. Do we place too much faith in electronic banking and the banks themselves?[STRIKE]Less is more.[/STRIKE] No less is Less.0

Partly, take paperless banking. When this started off,the Ulsterbank CS person I spoke to told me to take a recent statement along with my D.Card & ID into the branch to get money...
One MAJOR problem.....As I'm paperless banking,I no longer receive paper statements each month &,as the online banking wasn't working,I couldn't print off any statements to take into the bank...0 -
ulster bank:
We continue to work through the backlog of payments caused as a result of the IT issues experienced in RBS Group. Unfortunately, due to the complexity and scale of the backlog, we do not now expect to be fully up to date by Monday, 2nd July. We know this disruption is unacceptable and we continue to do all we can to help our customers.
2. My salary payment is due this week, can I access my money?
The bulk of salary payments are up-to-date, however a small number of customers may still experience a delay. To assist those customers, we continue to provide access to funds through our branch network. Customers can go to any Ulster Bank branch with their photographic ID*, payslip and account details to access funds.
*Photographic ID - Passport or driver's licence
3. My social welfare payment / children’s allowance is due in to my account. How will I be affected?
Some social welfare and children's allowance payments continue to be affected. We continue to provide welfare recipients with access to funds by visiting any Ulster Bank branch with photographic ID* and their account number. To ensure our customers know how to access social welfare / children's allowance payments we are planning to run advertising in national press early next week.
*Photographic ID - Passport or driver's licence

I am already tired of searching for any news about the Ulster Bank ... when they said that everything will be fixed to Monday I was so happy ... and now again I feel like s**t because I was once again duped ... I dont believe in that what people from bank say. i will believe only when the money will be in my bank account! I'm heartbroken ...
I can be angry, sad, surprised, feel like s**t but still the people of Ulster Bank does not care ...
it's sad that the bank is not interested in customers and treats them like animals or like babies. lies, lies, lies ....0
