Morning - I remembered to weigh this morning and 1 lb lost!:j Its a minor miracle as I've gone back to work and the food could have been better and the exercise levels have dropped a bit. But I suppose I've been on the go for 9 hours a day at work and still done lots of dogwalking and 2 runs.
I just felt like I wasn't as focussed as when I was off work but the loss has motivated me to get a bit more organised and to set myself a realistic goal for exercise this week.
So I'm off dogwalking in a minute and then its a trip to the pool for a mile long swim followed by a whizz round Sainsburys to stock up on good food.
As the weather is supposed to be good today I'll probably take the dog for a nice walk somewhere this afternoon a bit off the beaten track for an hour or so to get a bit of fresh air. There's also the cleaning, bed changing and chores to be done - I'll be about 3 stone by the end of all that ( who am I kidding!:rotfl:).
I also found my sunbed appointment card and there's a sun bed's worth of time left on it already paid for so I'll go and have one to use it up and to top up the rapidly fading tan.
No school work today - having a day off but will have to do a bit tomorrow.
Hope everyone has a lovely day in the sun.
MooLoo - glad you had a fab holiday.
Sparkles - you sound very positive again - well done on exercisng your way out of the gloom and some great bargains !
Bitsy - I'm sure you're more critical of yourself than anyone else would be. Have a lovely doing b*gger all day!0 -
Minor miracle here. I thought that I had put on loads of weight while away. But maybe I am just bloated!. I weighed in this morning at 9st 8lb and 6 oz. So I only put on 6oz!!!!!!
So why didnt my trousers fit on holiday when then fitted before i left?
DGD doesnt start school till Wednesday, so I have a few days to get sorted for her. Then I will concentrate on me time afterwards.
(BF even gave me lots of compliments while away, so unlike him!). So I felt really good.
Saw my Parents yesterday, after 3 months away. (They went to France). They also said that I looked really well. etc.
The sun tan helps I am sure!.
I will be back to fabbing next week when DGD has started school. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Pod, I'm so pleased that your hard work and persistence has come to fruition, well done you deserve it :j:j

I've had quite a good day for fabbing today. Used a deep conditioner on my hair (from a free sample I got through MSE!), usual de-fuzzing and tidied up a few stray eyebrow hairs, did my nails and tried a new moisturiser (another sample!). I have also put together outfits for the next 4 days complete with jewellery and they are all hanging in my wardrobe ready for me to wear! I'm feeling very organised (until I look at the mess surrounding me in my flat!). I am trying to have a bit more fun with my clothes rather than just throw on what is comfy and will cover me up. I have also been wearing red lipstick on my days off. I usually just wear balm or a very subtle colour. It does make me feel very glamorous when I'm wearing it!
Today I threw out my lovely furry slipper socks that I usually live in as they are full of holes and despite being very comfy they don't really scream 'fab'! I may have to treat myself to a new pair!
Bitsy Beans I completely agree with you on the short tops subject! I always get longer tops now as I hate it when I'm wearing a top and it seems fine when you are at home but as soon as you go out it starts to ride up revealing your belly and I would just feel uncomfortable all day trying to make sure it stays put!January 2016:

Hi all! I am still fabbing, even have a plucking session and exercise dvd scheduled for tonight
If the lazy sod I am can keep it up then there's hope for us all!
I am still too scared to go to a real hairdresser, dad is giving me another trim and i'm doing a few highlights around my face tomorrow.
fedupskint wow where did you get all your bargains?
mooloo 6oz :rotfl: Maybe you were just bloated on holiday. Was it warm? Did you fly?
welshwoofer congrats on the weight loss
I've started wearing dresses again to work and remembered how easy and comfy they are. I feel a bit smarter in them too, less coordinating to worry aboutWork is going well and I am not going to leave but I don't think I'm quite right for the public sector. I want a stressful challenging job and I am far too blunt. I have to wear jeans and a high viz for a site visit this week and I'm dreading it, I've started to like wearing smarter clothes- they're so much more flattering. Right, I'm off for a browse on ebay for some nice dresses. I'm obsessed with the "topshop tuck shift" style and have bought a few cheap versions and second hand ones recently as they're so flattering!

Good evening everyone.
A good fab day I'm pleased to report consisting of
A hair treatment, facial cleanse, exfoliate and face mask.
Wore new sale dress for first time to take advantage of the lovely weather
Met mum and had a look in the sales - found 2 swimsuits for £6 reduced from £29.50 and £9 reduced from £19 - one for holiday and one for local swimming pool when it opens and I start swimming once or twice a week. Guess what too - only found a size 8 fitted (OMG) never ever had that before and still can't quite believe it. I'm sure the sizing has changed over the last 20yrs
Back home and took the dog on a nice long walk and it was very warm indeed.
Then fabbed the house up halfway, leaving a little more for tomorrow.
Fabbed myself back up after completing Rin30 -L3 day 2 - boy is that hard work. Think I'll need to do more than 5 days on this level before tackling the final level.
Just relaxing listening to the tennis and having a mooch around on the internet before an early night and tomorrow starts - another busy day!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Morning everyone.
Good start to the day by finishing off most of the cleaning, just leaving the floors to do later on. The day is mine now!
Lovely day again here, nippy this morning but looks like its warmed up now. Think I'll get in the garden for a big sweep and tidy up and then think about the floors and exercise for later on todayfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Morning Sparkles - just me and you up so far?:)
Just been for a 5K run and found it quite hard going today - I know why so I'm not downhearted about it - no breakfast, big swim yesterday and its warm - all my own fault (apart from the weather). Not to worry, feel better for it now and I kept going.
Have already taken the dog for a walk (as a warm up for the run) but will go to the waterpark later with him for a nice stroll.
Need to have a shower and do a bit of defuzzing and a general tidy up of me and then have a faff about the house and do a teeny bit of school work.
I've started a new diary on the DFW board to document my spending and to try to encourage me to cut back a bit before my spending gets out of control so will go and update that now. So much has happened in the past year (divorce, redecorating, holidays, new social life, losing weight, new clothes - the list goes on) that if I'm not careful I'll end up getting into debt again so now is the time to take myself in hand! There's only me to pay the bills so I need to ensure that there's enough dosh to go round! Anyone is welcome to sneak a peek if you're really bored:rotfl:
Make the most of the weather today - its all downhill again tomorrow!0 -
Floors swept and mopped, washing out on the line to dry.
Feeling like a rather huge cold is coming on so bike ride might be off today as I'm lacking in some get up and go now. Am aiming to do Rin30 though this afternoon and take the dog on his long walk
WW - I'll have a little mosey over there later on. I'm about to start a new diary too as life has changed so much since I started the first one. Its time to focus on the final part of my life that needs addressing - the debts. The first diary saw me move from a low point in life to where I am now; exercising regularly, weight loss, self confidence and self esteem back to where they should be, fabbing myself up daily with skincare routines, use up what I have for skincare and make up and finally wear the clothes I own and the jewellery I own.
Time for the next phase to tackle the debt and make my money my own instead of the banks. I have wanted to do this for a long long time but put it off and off again. Over the last month its been nibbling away in my mind and its time to focus on this and start and carry on until they are repaid.
What will help?
Rejoin GC and NSD challenges to keep a focus each day and week
Write everything down I spend
Write down strict lists of what I need to buy and what I really DON'T need to buy
I have plenty of notebooks to use to keep track of this and will start from today.
Here I go tackling the next phase of my life that needs addressing. Once this is done I will feel like a huge weight has been lifted. Well last diary was called continue the change and enjoy the journey. Well I did, and now its time to repay the debts and enjoy this journey and hard work it will take to do this. I can see from others it can be done and I believe I can do this.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Good luck Sparkles!
I feel much the same as you - everything else is now going well so time to focus on the practicalities of life.
Will have a nosey when you're up and running. xx0
