Good morning all
Feeling a bit delicate after my sleepless night. Tummy upset too.
House a tip, me looking bedraggled and neglected.
So - having spent so long doing all my outside jobs and visiting OH every day last week it's now time to tackle some inside jobs but first it's time for me.....
So sitting here with my banana face mask on, a quick bath, wash and style hair, eyebrow tidy and a good slather - my skin feels like parchment - and then make a start on some housework, ironing and paperwork. Later a manicure and nail painting.
Oh and start exercising again and also back to the healthy eating. Because I have been so busy the healthy eating has taken a back seat. I've not eaten junk but I have relied too heavily on wheat and I don't feel good. I've even had to go back on the stomach meds to try and calm down the IBS.
So - I know I've said this before and yes I do slip back again (and again and again) but now is the time to start again. It's so silly to slip off the wagon but so, so easy.
Ah well - I'll just have to remember the elephant;)

Hi
I also had a bit of a bad night woke up and couldn't get back to sleep with lots whirling round my head. Then whem it was time to get up could have stayed in bed.
I'm also one of those who keep falling off the wagon and having to go back perhaps not quite to square 1 but not far off. It's just so hard when life gets in the way and we are so used to putting ourselves after the others we care for isn't it.
I've done myself a facial this morning, eyebrow tidy, managed a bit of yoga, and am still keeping up with the 5:2 diet. I need to get my house sorted as it's getting me down atm.
Have a good Monday everyone.Frump to Fab - Solstice Sizzler

LL and Lizzie - I also had a bit of a restless night. I struggled to get out of bed this morning! There was a sudden downpour of rain last night & it's looking grey & miserable outside at the moment. As for falling off the wagon...I often feel that I never quite fully manage to get onto the wagon in the first place, that it's running off and I'm dragging along behind it, struggling to pull myself on board!
Anyway, half clinging on to the wagon today... in a mo' I'm going to tidy up a bit before I go to work, plan a healthy meal for this evening and repair the chips in my nail varnish. Later I plan on having a sort through & clean of my makeup box. I keep all of my makeup in a small wooden 'treasure chest' and everything needs a good clean where I've had various lids come off eyeshadow pots etc.. and it's spilt. Also it will give me a chance to sort through what I've got & see what needs using up or it anything needs throwing out.January 2016:

I'm another one that had no sleep - the house alarm has decided to play silly b*ggers and beep intermittantly all night. It can be stopped by putting the code in but then 20 mins later when you're just dropping off it starts again - its like living in an intensive care ward - all beeping and that horrible flatlining noise! Luckily you can only hear it in the house (I've stood in the garden to check) and so its not disturbing the neighbours but I've had to phone the engineers to come and sort it out before I have a nervous breakdown from lack of sleep at the alarm taunting me everytime I get back into bed.:o The man I spoke to is ringing in the mornng with a time - he could have come tonight but its £150 for an out of hours call out or £75 after school tomorrow afternoon - earplugs for me and the dog tonight if it starts again (all quiet for the last hour).
So, I've been in a bit of a grump today and have wanted to scoff anything in sight - only 2 oreos so far though (counted in the cals) so it could have been a lot worse.
Too tired to do any exercise other than dog walking today and its raining now so have given up for the day.
LL - slow down! No wonder you can't sleep with all of that work and worry on your plate!
MRG - hope your hair situation improves! Its happened to me too in the past.
Lizzie - the fact that you're hanging on to the wagon shows you're trying. Keep at it!
Right off to update the spending diary - quite annoyed about the alarm debacle.:(0 -
Weird too, I have been sleeping very lightly over the last few nights.
I'm too tired to do any exercise today - will do some tomorrow and wed to finish off L3
Anyway time to write up my spending diary too (pen and paper one). Then read a paper for uni and then paint my nails with a treatment while listening to the tennis later onfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

Hi all,
Am feeling a little better so think the anti-biotics are finally starting to kick inWeird how everyone seems to be having problems sleeping - I've had a long weekend off work and seem to have overloaded on sleep lol! I'll probably be feeling it more tomorrow when I'm back and have to get up early again - I'm so not a morning person, when I can work for myself then will definately be going for the later start and working until later, it's much more productive for me!
LL - try not to overdo it hun, hope you're ok x
Had a fairly lazy day today, managed to finish my library book so I could get it back before I get any more fines on it and just been trying to write a bit on my new story. Got an email from the publishers with a form for me to fill in so they can start working on my book cover - quite exciting to see what they'll come up with! Not much fabbing but did give msyelf a quick haircut - think it's come out quite nice, few inches off the bottom and a bit of layering round the front, nothing too complicated but it looks better for it. May do my nails in a bit, will see how well the story's coming lol!0 -
Morning all,
I'm another one having trouble sleeping, although last night was much better. At least I know why though - I am hoping to move home next year so I have a lot to plan and as I've spent the last few days thinking about it all and trying to break it down into chunks, those thoughts are whirring round while I'm trying to sleep.
On the fabbing front I have slipped back although I am sticking with the basics of being clean, ironed and wearing perfume.
I have started to run again and might finally get to the end of week 2 tonight (about 10 weeks since starting!). I have also started decluttering, I've started small with decluttering and organising one of the kitchen cupboards but that was eye opening enough with some of the stuff I had to throw out :rotfl:
Decluttering and organising the flat ready for the move is my elephant at the moment so am sticking with LLs principle.0 -
Now you see I would sleep perfectly fine if it wasn't for little people keep interupting my beauty sleep
It's been hectic here with kids settling back into school, decorating, having two dogs making a shed load of mess (how can they moult so much and not be bald ). My house guest goes home tomorrow so then I shall start concentrating on getting stuck back into my yoga. Back has been tetchy through lack of it.
September always feels like a new year, new start and things have slacked over the summer so like many of you life has got in the way. Again.
So fabbing today will be
Yoga
Paint toe nails
File finger nails
Mudd mask this even
Drinking water

I think this is my problem too - just can't switch off the old brain.
Well done on the keeping clean, ironing and perfume HJ - that is a very good place to start from. You can just build on that as and when you feel up to it.
Like you and is it Adelight I am hoping to move and am frantically trying to get the house on the market.
I'm just about there - just got to paint the kitchen - hopefully this week. Then touch up the hall and a couple of doors upstairs where the wheelchair has damaged the paintwork. Then a deep clean and final "fluff" and we're ready to go. The decluttering is ok - just the loft now
I also need to get the garden fenced but I shall definitely outsource that one.
I'm off to the physio this morning - my back is tetchy too. Once she's licked me into shape again I aim to start back with the yoga and then start exercising properly. It's just what with the decluttering, decorating, gardening etc I don't seem to have any more energy left for exercising. Wonder why;)
Hope the light sleepers had a better night last night. I slept quite well - it does make a difference to how you feel. I also avoided wheat yesterday and already my tummy feels a bit happier.
My plan is get back on the healthy eating and nurse my tummy for a few days and then back to the 5:2. I notice Lizzie that you are still sticking with it.
Anyway off to do bit of sanding and prepping in readiness for that painting....I have to confess I will be glad when it's all finished.
Have a good day ....weather still holding here.0
