  • All sounds very Fab to me!.
I had a nice soak in the bath, bubbles, candles, and a cup of tea! No wine alas. I am not sleeping well so I hoped that I would be more relaxed but I was still up at 3am writing in my diary all the things that are going around in my mind.
I wouldnt say I was totally fabbed. But I am obviously much better then I thought. Yesterday there was a phone call from DGD's old nursery school. They were asking about permission for some pictures to be distributed. But the secretary said to me that she had seen me the other day, and that I looked really well, with a lovely hair cut, and I had my legs out!. So I did.
I have been wearing more dresses of late.
I have gone wild and have booked in my Massage, not had one for a few months, and along with that, I have an extra hour or so, with one of her Taster sessions for a indian head massage, a mini manacure and pedicure. never ever had either of those done in my life.
But if I am not feeling totally fab after all that lot, then I will not deserve to.
My hairdresser was a bit bolder on Tuesday and although my hair is the same style, it is much shorter, and the highlights and roots have been done. I felt quite good when I looked in the mirror.
All in all I feel we have succeeded in improving, but I do still need to spend more time on moisturisers, make up, wearing jewellry, and eating better. etc.
I doubt I will ever get rid of my Tummy, as its opposite where a lot of the back pain is, but I will be trying harder to keep up the back exercises, as I had the neck ones.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

  • How fabulously postive it is to read all of the progress made - big steps and small!
See you over on the new thread!

    Hi all,

I'm so impressed with everyone's progress :j:T Even if you don't think you've reached all the goals you set for yourself then I can see a real difference in everyone's progress, it's wonderful to see everyone taking more care of themselves and I really do think it makes you feel better and more confident.

I was thinking today that I probably haven't made the actual physical fabbing targets that I set for myself but a lot of the progress I've made in other areas comes from having more confidence and a little bit of belief in myself. I did used to be one of those people who would never do things because 'what if' it didn't work, people hated it, I made a fool of myself etc. But life is too short so now I try and think, well would it really be so bad if it didn't work, at least I'll have tried and not be always wondering what might have happened.

Anyway, just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone on here for being so supportive - I know, to me at least, it really means a lot. Shall go check out the shiny new thread, hope everyone else is continuing the journey too x
