    Morning all!
Glad you found the ex husband swimming story funny - I thought it was hilarious afterwards. :rotfl: The funniest thing was the lady that was watching him with me was laughing so hard she shrieked "don't make me laugh, I've got a prolapse!" and then promptly wee'd herself which only made us laugh more :rotfl:
Have you ever had one of those enlightenment moments that validates what you've done? I know I made the right decision now.;)

I have my mum and sister arriving today to stay until Saturday. Mum is really struggling with her knee and has been a bit down lately so hopefully it will be a distraction for her. Dad, as usual, is on a golf trip.

I'm finally having my hair cut and coloured this morning - its one thing that I've let slip lately, now my hair is long enough to put up I've stopped making so much effort with it. No more!
I also hope to do a run later and no doubt there will be lots of dogwalking - mum's dog is coming too, so double trouble.:)

And, I've weighed this morning and I've somehow managed to lose 2lbs this week:j:j That's a total of 17lbs gone, 3 lbs to go.
I watched the Paralympics ceremony last night - as some of you may know my sister is disabled (cerebral palsy) and so the paralympics is really moving for me. I know I'll spend most of the next week or two watching the sport. Go Team GB!

Hope everyone has a good day.
  • Morning All. WW, I hope you enjoy your weekend with family.

    My fabbing plans today
    1. Walk
    2. Swim - adding on another 10 lengths today
    3. Cleanse, exfoliate, moisturise

well my fabbing plans have taken a blow, our local gym is closing. tbh, I could really use the extra £20 a month and so could DH, we're struggling fit food now until payday cz we still have to pay the gym and they wouldn't accept that we couldn't eat if we paid them, they thought we were just trying any old way to get out of the contract. direct debit is due on the 1st so going to try and get it cancelled before it goes out. DH did an inventory of al the food in the house yesterday. he found 34 sausages in the freezer!! really must stop buying things on offer. my mum admitted she bought them if she saw them on offer too do we've both bought the same things! lol. also found two mystery meats in the freezer and a mystery fish.

OMG! the first time I see him he looks like a bald, podgy bellied laughing stock - all he needed were flippers and a snorkel:rotfl:

What a lucky escape - I could still be married to that:eek:
Off for a lie down in a darkened room.......

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Sounds like quite a catch (not!!)

Well done on the weight loss too. I really do feel shamed now.:o

EH - can you make your own mini-gym at home - have you got a bit of space - you can usually pick up second hand equipment quite cheaply. In the meantime can you use DVD's etc.

I have a bike, a Swiss ball and some handweights, DS1 has a multi-gym. Now that the garage has been decluttered I'm thinking about getting a cross trainer as well.

Today is more painting, shopping and house cleaning....It's all just just fun, fun, fun

    Have a good day X
  • Morning All,

Getting paid today :), mean's a bit more debt cleared :) be a lot quicker if I didn't go shopping!

Off to the debts of Somerset this weekend for a family Christening, looking forward to have a good catch up and see everyone. Plus get to see my gorgeous niece :)

WW - know what you mean about hair, my hair is long and gets put in a bun or twisted/plaited back but it really needs cutting, I just can't justify nearly £100 for highlights and cut but it's been 4 months and long overdue.

    EH xx

Off to hibernate. Been left with dodgy tummy after something I ate Tuesday and now back has twanged under ribcage so it hurts to breathe never mind move  Going to change my name too because if I hear "mum" shouted at me one more time I shall scream.

Sorry crabby mood, shall post when I feel more human. Off to struggle to hang the washing on the line!

WW loving the ex husband encounter :rotfl: well done on WL :T

    EH enjoy Somerset :)

Evilsquid no need for expensive gym equipment, is it callisthenics that only require your own body weight and resistance from floor or chair. http://www.drillsandskills.com/article/18

    Hi one and all.

Apologies for not being around much - laptop has died sadly - off to the repair shop tomorrow to see if can be fixed cheaply.

Fabwise - have fabbed up amazingly for a few days - worked well in clothes, perfume and light dusting of makeup.

Collected some fabby 10p bargain from S*perdr*g yesterday and today - travel size shampoo, dove body wash for a hamper present, razor blades, body spray! Also stocked up on shampoo and leave in conditioner - trying own brand this month tosee how I get on with this compared to big high street brand - £1.49 instead of £3 or £4.99.

What else - WI today and have STS for this week which is ok.

Feel tired after a busy week and today is a busy day too after work with some housework, food shopping and ironing then attempt to get back on track with Rin30 which has taken a back seat for a couple of days and finally get around to making tea - all preferably before 7pm! Then an early night!

Hope all are well out there

    Hello all

I would like to join you all if I may.

I'm getting married in 7 weeks so started a weight loss regime a couple of months ago which mainly consits of "being good" food wise as often as I can manage and going to the gym/yoga 3/4 times per week which has paid dividends recently as I've started to notice I've lost a bit of weight and have toned up quite a bit.

I have just started to up my fabbing routine recently as I noticed I was starting to let things go a little bit. So I have 2 main goals:

    1. Look my best on my big day
    2. Make more of an effort to look a bit more fabulous everyday

I have started a sunbed course to get a healthy glow, just had a new hair cut/colour, got whitening toothpaste and bought some new clothes recently. I have been a bit hit and miss with face packs etc so I need to do these a bit more regularly. I moisturise both face and body daily and have done for some time now.

I love the suggestion of wearing perfume and jewellery from your collection each day as I have loads of jewellery that I rarely wear so will have a rummage and see what I can find.

I have also recently started painting my finger nails (have always done my toe nails but could make more of an effort with my feet too) but I find that the colour only stays perfect for a day or two then starts to chip making them look even worse - have you any tips for longer lasting nail varnish? I've been using Boots 7 stay perfect by the way.

I'm hoping joining you ladies will keep me motivated to look fab more regularly as I know that when I make even a little bit of effort I look much better but those occassions are becoming less and less frequent!??

Also loving the idea of Fab Friday so will start as I mean to go on tomorrow!
    Got married October 2012 :j
    Hoping to conceive 2013 :D
  • Welcome Babymad, come and join us we're all lovely and don't bite!

Sounds like your doing plenty of fabbing already.

Fab Friday thanks for reminder off to paint nails and plan nice outfit for work.

    EHxx
  • Morning All,

Where is everyone? Hope your all having a Fab Friday,

Actually painted my nails a miracle for me as always seem to smudge them whilst watching that 'Good Cop' drama a bit violent & graphic in places. I'm sat here with bright pink nails & toe nails purple :)

    Eh xx
