Hey ladies. Fabbing currently on hold whilst me and h go through the motions (pardon the pun) of the S and D bug that DS had :( currently feeling like death warmed up, poor kids having to amuse themselves while H and I take turns to go back to bed.

Lots of exercise going on, am pleased so many are getting stuck in. Level 2 of Shred <faints away>

    Get well soon Bitsy. xxxx

Just back from hairdressers and food shopping.
He's sorted out the colour and it looks all nice and deep dark brown with a hint of red - all glossy and shiny. Just a trim on the length too, so happy with that. On the negative side - he said that if I didn't dye my hair I would now be 90% grey:eek::eek::eek: (he can see all of my roots, not the ones in the parting that I see). I take after my dad who was completely grey/white by 25 - I'm only 40 and too young to be granny grey just yet! The expense and hassle of dyeing will go on for many years to come.

Get well soon Bitsy and H!

Sparkles - Well done on passing your assignments, and good luck with the next one.

Lizzie - Hope you get your washing machine fixed soon. Yay on signing up for your next OU course.

Pod - How did the wedding go?

I have signed up for my next OU course as well (starting in October), but still have the financial support application to be signed, and sent back on Monday.

I have recently started on some new anti-depressants, but they have left me feeling really 'spaced' and tired, will endeavour to do at least 20 minutes on the exercise bike this evening and I will be going for a walk tomorrow. My appetite has also been reduced the last month or so (but these new tablets also stimulate appetite, so I am trying to be aware of how much I am eating, as I do not want to return to the extreme of constant comfort eating.)

Well done to all those 'shredding', I did try it out, but never got beyond level 1 as I pulled my back! I sold it as it was just too fast paced for me, and replaced it 'The Biggest Loser - New Year New You' which I quite enjoy and can keep up with!

Being kind to myself so far has involved having a quiet day today, and finishing off a book. I have sorted out some more books to sell or to be donated to the charity shop. I have also booked a dentist appointment that I have been putting off for two weeks, as I have a broken tooth.
  • Bitsy - hope you feel better soon. Plenty of rest!

I'm a happy fabber today as I did week 1, run 1 of couch to 5k. Ok, you run for 1 minute and walk for 90 seconds but I think it's what I need - I've tried running before but can't do it for more than 5 minutes so give up so if I can ease myself into it and keep going, it's got to be worthwhile. I think the next run will be on Tuesday.

I've also planned this weeks meals with much more veg than normal. We had a bbq today but still managed to fit in a few portions so that's better too.

    Morning everyone.
Puking has stopped but am feeling totally washed out. So plan today is to plod as slowly as I can, have a shower and pamper myself. Use a bit of moisturiser, put on some make up so I have a bit more colour and sort my hair out!

Not eaten anything yet and don't really want to, oh well good for losing weight I suppose :rotfl:

I think that will be all I can cope with. Have to muster some energy to go and walk the dog in a minute......

Morning all (hope you're feeling a bit brighter Bitsy).

I went out last night and am definitely a bit worse for wear today - I didn't drink loads and loads but I rarely drink these days so I think my tolerance has dropped off and although I wasn't "drunk" I feel as rough as a badger's ar*e today! I think its lack of sleep and dehydration rather than the booze - I never sleep properly when I've had a drink and didn't go to bed until 2.30am (can't remember the last time I did that). But I had a fab time and laughed a lot so its worth it.
I have a dog and he has no sympathy so I had to go walkies this morning and feel better for it. Walked for 70 mins to pick up the car (left at the pub) - thought I wouldn't make it at one point but plodded on and we got there in the end.:o
That may well be the exercise for the day (other than another smaller dog walk later) unless I have a sudden rush of energy.

Plans for today include a bit of a rest, maybe some school work if I can muster the oomph, cooking something nice for tea and avoiding football at all costs!

So one of my new things for the week can be ticked off - just the exercise thing to try now, can confidently say it won't be today:rotfl::rotfl:

    Oh dear Welsh Woofer x
I understand about the dog's complete lack of sympathy. Mine are absolutely dreadful if their routine is upset in any way:eek:

I have not been up to much pampering but am going to sort out my "Barbie" outfits for my holiday. I saw this on another thread where people listed their clothes combinations and gave them a name...

    "Beach Barbie"......
    "Dog walking Barbie".......
Slobbing around the house Barbie".....You get the idea?

Well I have too many clothes really now :embarasse and get phased when I have to get dressed some mornings. I get panicky when I have to pack and find it highly stressful so thought this might be a good way of organising my wardrobe. That way I can look at my list of options and just select instead of umming and aahhrrring!

Hope you all have a good day x
