  • Thanks rachelja! A bubble bath would be nice only I don't have a bath-tub in my small flat (I do have a shower, don't want to give the impression that I don't wash or something!) but I may follow your lead and do my nails nice for tomorrow! :)

  • Ok, I've had a think about it, my new thing to try this week is use Garnier Ultralift moisturiser (especially under my eyes!). I got a free sample through the post today to do the 14 day challenge! I usually use moisturiser but have been thinking I ought to try an anti-aging product now I'm in my 30's as I'm not going to get any younger! So this will be the perfect opportunity. Does any one else here have a favourite anti-aging cream?

Just a thought - could you set an alarm on your phone to remind you? Might make it a bit more of a routine then?
Thanks WW good idea why didn't I think of that.

Had a bad day today my washing machine has broken and in our present position I have no idea where the money is coming from to fix it. Typically I resorted to the chocolate box ( I have some left from my birthday). Have been looking at the shred obviously for future reference as there's no way atm I could cope with it. Have looked at the results some people have got on youtube and it does seem to get results. I already have some of the 10 min solutions dvds blast belly fat, kickboxing and dancing, but I didn't notice any results and so gave up. I do like the idea of measuring the difference rather than weighing yourself.

Can't remember who asked (without going back over the posts) but have been applying moisturiser to my feet twice a day and then putting on socks for a couple of hours. In between I let them breathe because I also have a problem with athlete's foot sometimes this helps with that. I have also been using my poundshop ped egg to remove some of the hard skin. Haven't put any polish on yet as I lost a part of a nail last week and it's a bit sore but will perhaps do that next week.

Have heard today that I have been accepted for my next OU course.
Have ordered feel the fear and do it anyway from ebay. (sold some stuff last week so used this money)
I also sorted the top of my wardrobe boy there was some dust up there:eek::eek:.
So some positives among the negatives. :)

    Morning all

Rachel - I love your appoarch to try something new, be it very small or big. I'm going to try and do that too. WW is right about the shred it is hard to start with, but if I can do it, I am 5 stone overweight have a very sedate life and I've managed to get to level 2 quite quickly. There are 2 girls doing the exercises as well, one does easier exercises so I follow here till I feel brave enough and then mix it up with the harder one until I find I'm doing all the harder ones without even realising.

Well, I've had a few days of destruction, totm and all I want to do is eat and slump around. Given myself a kick today I have alot to do. We are having my dads postponed birthday party on sunday so I've got a house to clean and lots of food to prepare. I was meant to have my eyes tested today but because of the Natwest clich I've not yet been paid. Luckily hubby has but I didnt want to use up his wages on things that can wait.

Hope you all have a wonderful day.

I've been using the Ultralift for about the past year or so - I started with a 14 day free trial too. It suits me and I think my skin looks better for it - I'm 40 now and fairly wrinkle free so far. It usually about £9 for a pot but there are often offers in supermarkets, Boots and Superdrug so you can usually find it for about £6. To be honest I used to use either Clarins or Clinique moisturiser and find the Ultralift better.

Just back from the wet park with the dog and gave him a good run around to tire him out a bit. Weighed this morning and that elusive extra half a pound has gone but I won't count it this week and move my weigh in day to Fridays instead to coincide with the OS weightloss thread day.

Quite a busy day ahead - bit of exercise (probably Shred) then a shower and off to do the food shopping and then have hair done. Then its a quick hoover and dust of the house and maybe an hour of schoolwork and then out tonight for a few drinks and a laugh with my dogwalking friend (met through a meet up group).

Hope everyone has a good day.
  • Good morning all! I'm feeling a bit more positive today. I painted my nails bright red last night and I'll buy some hair dye in the way home from work and get my roots sorted! I have a Zumba DVD so I plan on doing that this evening. I've had a healthy breakfast and am raring to go!

Hope everyone has a good day! :j

Well done on the weightloss WW! Sounds like its going really well for you.

As for me I scraped a pass for the 3 assignments I wrote when ill with a virus last month so although not too chuffed about the result, pleased it was a pass and don't have to redo them.

Today is a long day of writing the next one as tomorrow will be before deadline day and then normal service can resume with exercise

This week's exercise has been - stepper 2 days and 2 days 6 week 6 pack and usual dog walks. Today will do the stepper later on and probably tomorrow as the floor is covered in paper presently and not much room to do 6W6P.
