    Morning ladies :)

Mot been posting much as had another busy week. Really need to get a proper fabbing schedule sorted as when I am rushed off my feet it all goes out of the window. Need to revist my goals and the plan I wrote to succeed :o
Feeling pretty ropey :o slept funny on my neck yesterday and can't turn head fully so no exercise or yoga possible. Also feel this morning that I have a cold coming. Meh. Am sure some of this is stress related.....situation with H's job rumbles on. Due to managing partner at work kicking off about changes managers have asked h to extend his redunancy notice period so they can rejig the restructure to fit him in. Not quie as cut and dried as keeping his job because they had to make same offer to other chap who is leaving so back in limbo fighting for a place in the company. Stop the ride I wanna get off.

Anyway sorry for that ramble :o looking like a nice day again today so need some Vit D ;)
Dog walked once already, taking kids to local lakes for walk and play.
    Enjoy your Sunday's everyone xxx

Madrabbit sorry to hear about your OHs health scare, sending hugs and positive vibes your way xxx

Well done on the fabbing everyone, sounds like you're all making great progress :T

    Morning to you all,

I have been reading this for a while but not posted, can I join you?

I think that you have been having a subtle effect on me - today I am dyeing my hair, I have a new capsule wardrobe and I'm booked in for a haircut and Mac make over next week.

I have also managed to stop smoking. Now I just need to tackle the few pounds that I have put on and make sure I get fit. I do have a gym membership but am thinking that maybe couch to 5k and 30 day shred maybe better for me?

    Thank you all. xx

Welcome djenks, the more the merrier! I'd love to hear about your capsule wardrobe. I know I have far too much still.

Won't stop to post now, dont want to waste a minute of the sunshine!!:j:j:j

    Back soon.

Thanks for posting that. I've got all those things but they don't necessarily match each other.:rotfl: I'm not going to think about autumn yet as I intend to enjoy the sun while it lasts!! But when I do I'll use that as a model for revamping my wardrobe. I can give it some thought in the meantime. I'll probably have loads of questions, in fact thought of some already. Is this mainly designed as a work wardrobe? Is it just to have a 'new you' or have you got a new job or any other reason? Sorry to be so nosey.:o

Well done on giving up smoking. If you belong to a gym it seems a shame not to use it but sparkles and ww (resident excercise gurus:D) do seem to be getting on really well with the other programmes plus cycling and swimming!

I've done a little fabbing today:
    • went out for a walk. DH decided to come with me which was nice. He is a brisk walker so that was OK but we spent more time looking around a country churchyard than walking! I definitely got my 30 minutes in though. My plan is at least 3 times a week but I'll do more if I can fit it in. Obviously I'm pleased with any burnt calories but my main aim is to make my muscles strong and supple. Also I find it clears my head and lifts my mood. In fact why do I put it off??
    • read another chapter of my 'serious' book
    • sat in the sun and read my novel. Ths may not sound very fab but it made me happy!

Love the capsule wardrobe djenks but I confess I am terrified of a capsule wardrobe :o I am either spilling coffee or kids getting mucky mitts on me so I'd never have any clean clothes. I could do a capsule Wardrobe as long as I had about 7 capsules :o:rotfl:

Does watching YouTube videos count as fabbing :rotfl:

  • Evening all,

Had a fab weekend camping down the Gower, not much fabbing as camp site facilities were a cold water tap & portaloos! But waking up to gorgeous sunshine & seeing amazing sunsets plus a lovely beach makes you appreciate the beauty of nature. So i'm chilled, happy and sunburnt at mo!

    Eh xx

    Evening

Had a lovely afternoon today, been for a walk around Swanage and had a little paddle, sea was quite cold, not sure how anyone managed to swim in it, but there was plenty in there. Then had a lovely meal in a pub which we used to use when we were camping as kids, right trip down memory lane, its not changed a bit.

Feel like I'm on holiday, but sadly I'm not another 3 weeks to go before that.

Back to work tomorrow hope you've all had a good weekend and enjoy your week xx

    Thank you!

It is based around me wanting to look a little smarter and have clothes that can take me from work to home. I have jeans already which will also go.

I think its a new me emerging :-) I've had an awful year so far and am finally feeling better, much calmer and clear headed.

In the process I have also started getting rid of the people in my life who give me grief and drama!

I've just coloured my hair, face mask, nails etc. Have a hair cut, teeth whitening and make up booked for next week too. So I think I'm well on my way to being a better me.

Not sure why but I have that anxious feeling in my stomach again this morning. Haven't felt like this for weeks/ months but for some reason it's back. Need to do some exercise and perhaps read a bit of 'feel the fear', perhaps a bit of mindful time and see if I can get rid of it. Not feeling good at all. :(
