^^ Have you signed anything to say you can't post on open forums?

We have but it says to be careful what you say because you could be seen to be speaking for the company.

I haven't signed anything to say not to post on forums.

Disclaimer in my sig might cover it anyway? However, as I said I don't post anything that isn't already in the public domain and don't make any statements 'on behalf of the bank'.

Will stop posting if I get told to and I don't think they'd be able to trace me anyway!

There are several standard rate numbers available on saynoto0870 should you not wish to use the standard 0845 number

You can say what you like aslong as its in the domain and its not information you would not normally give to customers. This was discussed a few months within RBS and HR are okay with it. :D

Through reading previous posts over this past few days -

I see some people have had credits not showing in the morning when they should, but then getting updated later in the day ( someone mentioned tea-time?)

Does any one know if this is still a possibility, today, or are we all screwed till at least Monday, now, as it is the weekend.

I would be very keen to see updates from any posters who do received awaited credits, at some point today.
    I don't know much, but I know I love you ....<3
  • The thing that annoys me about the statement on the Natwest site is that it says that the problem is purely of a technical nature(ie that balances are not up to date) but that underplays the fact that this technical problem means that people are not able pay others, be paid and carry on with normal day to day living. The offer to withdraw £300 emergency funds is only any good if your branch is open. Mine is not. With no money to get to the nearest branch that is open (I don't tend to keep much cash, I do everything with my debit card) I am sure many are stuck.

They say that is purely of a technical nature, they mean that the bank is not experiencing financial difficulties which are preventing you from accessing your money. If people started to think this something other than a technical issue then there could be a run on the bank.

It was a member tried updating the payment software and corrupted it. It's all fixed now just working on backlog.

Plus it's also fine if you are a natwest customer. 75% of my employees are non rbs/natwest and they are unable/unwilling to help them out. Even if they take their wageslip(which we had been told u could do) to their own bank they're own bank cannot help. Neither can natwest. Shambles of a situation. And for the people who say people need to stop over reacting. Many of our employees are part time temp workers who need this money to survive. Many have nobody to turn to to borrow money from so literally have no money for food until this gets sorted out

I would have thought balances and transactions would be updated throughout the day if there is a backlog to process.
