Hiya - Yes, cleared and available, and I have trasnferred the money between my 2 Natwest accounts and the balance has been updated correctly on each account.

Thanks for that. I'm still waiting for some payments in to become available funds, although all transactions seem to be showing on the account balance. Additionally, card payments I've made don't seem to have reached the destination account, despite funds being allocated from my account immediately.

Nothing has changed here since yesterday evening.

    hi all

Does anyone know if you can draw money from the ATM if there is money showing in your account, or do you still have to go to a NW branch.

    Thanks for the replies.

i have something waiting from thursday morning...

Not sure when it is supposed to be cleared I am waiting for wages from Wednessday and my employer has advised that they estimate the earliest to be Monday so you may not get yours until Tuesday I'd guess.

Just a thought. Can your solicitor not ask their bank to cancel the faster payment they sent to you as it has not gone through and then re-do it? Apparently faster payments are now working so if they are able to re-do it then it should now work. I know you can do this with my bank and with things such as paypal accounts and credit cards if the money has not gone through to the recipients account. Just a thought really not sure if they can do this for you but it's worth asking.
  • Up to 12 million people have been affected by the major computer error which was triggered when a software upgrade was being installed to the payment system.

Well that went well then didn't it. I like all these upgrades that break stuff. Later I am going to upgrade my car by taking the engine out and replacing it with a lump of cheese.

According to the latest news the problem is not going to be solved until Monday at least. Not funny at all.

I don't have any account with Natwest but my employer does as far as I know. I will need some money at the begining of next month. I hope this issue will get sorted soon :/

Obviously the "technical fault" can't be fixed than if the online has gone down again. When will they stop lying and tell everyone the truth. At least if they admitted that they had f****d up and that it is going to take days to correct (not hours like they have been advising for the last 3 days) then people would know where they stand. It is soo frustrating.
  • My internet banking is now down...

I also phoned back at 4.15pm for an update as I was told earlier it would be fixed, the lady told me she had a memo from 12noon which said people wages were slowly going in and would be in by 7pm... i then challenged this as the two people I had spoken to in the afternoon neglected to mention this!!!!!! I dont know who to believe anymore.

Im going down the branch after work to try and get a cash advance, though fingers crossed because the internet banking is down it may mean that my money will be going in...

The problems with the online banking could just be down to the system being overwhelmed with customers, lots of people will be home from work about now.
