From IT techies, including some from RBS. Here's just one comment from an RBS insider ....

"I have seen the incident record from when this started (17/6) and it isn't an Indian name on the ticket for the backout procedure (not until the job got handed over at any rate). An upgrade from v11.1 to v11.3 of the CA7 software went wrong though, that much is clear."

Seriously though, I had several transactions due today on Natwest and all have gone through as normal.

I work for the nhs and i have been paid today, although im with natwest, didnt know if this was of any help to anyone.

My IS that went walkies Saturday afternoon is now in my account and so is my CA that went in Saturday/Morning. (RBS)
