Been trying to get through to my bank now for 2 hours .. still engaged..
Don't bother ringing the branches. They never answer. Ring one of the numbers on the Natwest website, there is a freephone number on there.
    I work for Natwest.

Well my online balance is now showing significantly lower than I was expecting....although my national lottery win from last Wednesday is showing today.

I'll give it a few more days to settle and see what happens from there.

I've gave up on ulster bank. You find out more on here, their advisors seem to know very little.

My Natwest account is fully uptodate, all debits, debited, all credits, credited and the balance correct.

Did a transfer from current to saving account yesterday no problems.

Prehaps I'm one of the lucky ones, but not speaking too soon as I want to pay in a cheque tomorrow.

Now I have had enough...I just called the ESA to find out now much I was due on Sat/Monday gone only to be told they haven't issued a payment as yet!
So I can either go to the local DSS office or she'll issue a payment to my account,I chose the latter as I've already had some money on the strength of the payment I should have had on Sat/Monday!
I wonder how many others are awaiting a payment that hasn't been made on the basis of this fubar?!

I'm with RBS. My OH's wages were showing on Friday and had disappeared on Saturday. The same for a DD. Child Benefit isn't there either.
OH bought things with his debit card on Friday and they are showing but the date has now been changed from the 22nd to the 25th.
So my account is still sitting at -£3.
I phoned RBS yesterday as we have more DD's coming off on Thursday and they said if my account isn't fixed tomorrow i have to call them back with exact details of what was paid in and they will make sure there is money there to cover them.
My worry is we are due to have more wages paid in this Friday and then alot paid out in DD's on the 1st.
What happens if it's not fixed by then?

So, this is not Ulster Bank's fault? Or is it...?

I don't know...it's got me thinking that the ESA payments were returned as last Tuesday when I phoned them to see if the payment was going in OK due to it not being made the week before,I was told it was.
Thing is now that the DD's I had going out of my account on Monday will bounce so I'll be liable for any charges because the ESA wasn't paid & if they pay it into my bank today,it'll reflect that.
It's got me wondering (Call me Fox Mulder) weather this is a ploy/plan/scam by RBS to avoid compensation payments for debits..
What is the situation with lodgements due to be made to my account?

Lodgements of cash or cheques made over our branch counters from Wednesday 20th June are receipted but are yet to be credited to customers' accounts and will be credited as we clear the backlog.

Electronic payments are being received into accounts but they are delayed. If your salary, pension or welfare payment was due to be paid into your account before Wednesday 20th, this will appear in your account balance today. If you were due to receive your salary via an electronic payment between Wednesday 20th and Monday 25th these may not yet be in your account. If you need access to cash please click here to find out how to access cash.

ulster bank now updated there web site

We continue to work through the backlog of payments caused as a result of the IT issues experienced in RBS Group. We're making progress on this and are confident that this will help us restore a full service for the start of next week in Ulster Bank.

Here is the latest statement from RBS on the issue.

We know this disruption to our customers is unacceptable and we're committed to doing all we can to help as many of our customers as possible. The staff in our branches and call centres are doing everything possible to help customers.

What a flaming JOKE Ulster Bank are goes from bad to worse
