Are they going to say or do anything?
I doubt it - Hester is one of Cameron's rich buddies!
We know how Cameron likes to help his friends.... Andy Coulson, Rebekah Brooks etc.
But remember Cameron has told us all many times before ''We are all in this together!''Tally Ho!

Can someone please advise me. I have just a basic account with RBS and only use it for direct debit for a loan I took out with pounds to pocket. The direct debit is for £27 every 2 weeks. The last payment due out was on 22nd June but didnt come out I assume due to these technical problems they're having. My concern is, the payment is now late through no fault of my own but can pounds to pocket now charge me a late payment charge because of this? Also how long before direct debits are sorted again as the money still hasn't come out0

the RBS and Natwest seems to be getting back to normal as you say but Ulsterbank just having no movement at all . Just spoken to them and they are still saying they HOPE it will be all sorted for friday
Sorry, should have said I can only talk for the RBS branch staff as my partner works in the RBS branch network. He says the branch systems are almost back to normal. Last week they had hardly anything working!0 -

Very strange the bbc is not hosting any user comments on this story at all.
Finally anyone else worried that rbs is Santander a Spanish bank whose creditworthiness was downgraded this week and needing a euro bailout.
RBS is not owned by Santander, they sold some Natwest branches to them that is all. RBS is mostly owned by the taxpayers!
Not sure which BBC you are watching as there has been extensive coverage of this issue on BBC TV and online, this morning on BBC news they were asking for people affected to contact them!0 -
Ye and....
oh dalek you don't believe them ? lol just had to laugh at the guy in call centre when I asked again about overdraft, he told me to just go ahead and use my debit card to pay anything I needed to pay and they would cover charges , ok sounds fine but the payments will not go through if no money in account lol "oh yes I guess so " was he replyTOTAL 44 weeks lose. 6st 9.5lb :T0 -
RBS Customer here - Digital banking balances seem to be up to date this morning. However the DD payments that have gone out late, and the payments in that have arrived late, are all described simply as "RBS Transfer", all with the same reference number, rather than listing the payee or originator.
Also, my TV Licence DD should have gone out on 22nd. It hasn't, and according to my payments schedule (online) the TV Licensing people haven't requested the payment. Not sure if this is true, or if RBS have missed making the payment. I guess time will tell.0 -
What are you expecting them to say
Well there is NO way the Tories will acknowledge that anyone is experiencing any hardship because of this.....
As they Refuse to acknowledge that anyone is struggling on the minimum wage or benefits! :mad:The Daleks Reign Supreme, All Hail The Daleks!0 -
Well amazingly our debits are now showing BUT a payment that went in last Friday and showed friday and Saturday until 11am has still vanished into cyber space. If they can show debits how come my credit has vanished. Getting more annoyed by the day0

i am the same (with RBS) Debits now showing , b ut wages that appeared then disappeared friday still not there. I have phoned them this morning and they said now that my DD are upto date its only a matter of time before the wages will appear. As they are having to go through thousands of transactions and put them back into accounts, please god let this fiasco be over soon!0
