So you rely on a bank loophole to get money two days early? Hate to see it when they shut it off.
Read this thread people who are claiming benefits are demanding "their" money.
If your payment usually arrives on a Saturday instead of Monday, it's without asking for it, and it still means last week's money unexpectedly has to last two extra days for many people, lots of whom with children. This will be a problem wherever the money is coming from.
After the first week, it's not 'money two days early'!Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

I can't access my online banking at all this morning on the phone or online... Anyone else?
I haven't been able to access online for over 24 hours now. There is a pleasure in the pathless woods, There is a rapture on the lonely shore, There is society, where none intrudes, By the deep sea, and music in its roar: I love not man the less, but Nature more...0 -
Love the fact all the dole dossers and benefit claimants are demanding "their" money.
and "My wages go in monday but kinda cheat and get them on a saturday, its not good enough I have to wait to monday"
Seriously. You bank with a poor bank. move on!
If I was you I would be careful about making ignorant bigoted comments like that. I have known people like you who think they are better because of all that tax they pay, only to find themselves unemployed and bankrupt and left without a penny. Circumstances can change overnight and karma has a way of catching up with you.0 -
I could at least access my account and statement online yesterday, this morning it just says they're having technical issues when I try to log in. So much for being 'fixed', thanks to lying to your customers.0

If I was back in England I would be closing my Natwest A/C as soon as possible tbh and going elsewhere. As it is I won't be back in England till the middle of next year at the earliest. You think being without funds in England is bad... you should try it in Cambodia! Luckily I am not desperate for the money transfer that should have gone into my Natwest account on Friday, as it was only going to go into an account paying better interest here (4.75% fixed 1 yr and no tax to pay), but having that money lost in cyberspace is not the most comforting of thoughts.
All-in-all it's a pretty bad show from NatWest and one I'm sure will see them lose a lot of customers over. Especially as other banks will fall over themselves to offer painless transferrals of peoples day-to-day banking. (As I recall a lot were offering this service when I was last in the UK anyway).0 -
Don't try to log in.
I just did this and now my account is suspended and they are sending me activation code through the post in a "few days time"
What was a problem just turned into a disaster for me!0 -
I did just try to log in and it told me online banking was down. I've not tried the app today - yesterday I checked the app first and then tried to sign in online, only to find that I was blocked for ten minutes for using two different sign-in methods.0

Another day and not the slightest bit of movement on my account.0

I'm in the unfortunate position of being a new customer to Natwest. I'm currently doing a switch over of DD's and SO's from my old account with Natwests switching service, and I'm now worried that this will be held up with current fiasco:(
Also my first salary is due to be paid in this week, so hopefully that will go ok.
Until today I've been able to use my card for shop purchases, but this morning at my local Tesco Express it was declined, despite having plenty of cash in my account:(0 -
