I called RBS yesterday and told them I needed £190 for my weekly season ticket as my weekly expires on Sunday and was put on hold for 2 minutes and they confirmed it would be in there within the hour. True to their word it was.
I am normally paid each Friday and have been for the last 9 months so they obviously checked my payment history. A bit inconveinient but they have given me what I need and cannot fault them considering the circs of this situation0 -

The apps not working this morning, so not been able to check the money and dds that are due in/out (too lazy to turn laptop on to check online
). Surely if the issue was fixed, online and the app would be working as normal?

Has anyone received a paymen yet due on Friday ?
I did receive a payment in on Friday, but not until around 9pm. I am just waiting for things to happen that should have happened yesterday, something to go in the bank and 2 direct debits to come out of the bank. Nothing has changed on the bank since 9pm Friday night.0 -

Just a quick question that's come to me. What are people doing about due direct debits? Are the companies automatically dealing with it for Natwest etc customers or would I need to call them tomorrow to explain the non-payment/arrange alternative payment?Clean credit file:12 mthsCar loan: FREE! :jTHE PLAN: 1.Pay off debt £8808.42(£3254.45, £1570.32, £2698.33, £0:dance:, £1000, £285.32) 2.Save monthly for Christmas/insurance etc £150 per month 3.Save for emergencies /£1500 4.Save for our B&B £????depends which one takes our fancy0

Well my 2 direct debits that should have come out yesterday, one of them is our mobile phones and that payment was due yesterday, I phoned them up and they were really understanding, they knew all about the carry on and put a note on my account and told me not to worry. The other direct debit isn't actually due until tomorrow, so if it hasn't come out by tomorrow will be phoning them up too. My wages did go in (even though late), so the money is there to pay them, the direct debits just haven't come out.0
