Hi I was duped by Dead sea kit - D S Marketing - and have not had a refund from them, my bank tried getting chargeback from them but didn't succeed. I thought there was no-one advertising these sort of products on Facebooks anymore but today when I went onto the site there is an advert for Lift Serum Pro and Lift and Glow Pro. Do not request FREE Trial kits anyone as you will end up having large amounts of money being taken out of your account using the card Number you have given them for the postage. Their advert is just the same as Dead sea kit, so don't get duped.

    Hi jagj

my card is MBNA. They classify deadsea as a blacklisted company and say i will be refunded fully for monies that have gone out.

Unfortunately dermajuvenate UK are not yet blacklisted so that money has been lost. Maybe banks and credit card companies operate different policies when reimbursing monies. MBNA says there is no dispute at all and they will chargeback with no problems.

You could try emailing the companies as well to cancel recurring orders. MBNA have told me to keep all emails i have incase they try to take more money out and that the emails i have are absolute proof of communications with them.

    best of luck.
  • My wife clicked on the facebook advert with Boots link in April and signed up, but quickly realised (too late) something wasn't quite right and we then discovered this whole new world.
Since then I have had the same correspondence from Dead sea (in Rugby!) as everyone else. We canceled the automatic refills immediately and sent emails saying we wanted to cancel the free trial (to no avail) and stuff arrived two days later! Mother in law unfortunately signed for it. They took the £3.95 for postage that same day.
Since then I have cancelled my credit card and had a replacement issued. This stopped them taking any more money. I have been told by my bank, as others have relayed, that they will not allow this company or any other without my authorisation to take money out of my account. I've noted what has been said about visa doing this for them, but my bank said it will not happen since I have a new card!
I've flatly told dead sea thieves that I will not return the product to Israel and they need to send me a return envelope to return it or send their courier around to collect it. Since I've confronted them it has gone silent.
This has worked for me, hope it helps for others newly caught out by these heartless scambags. Thanks for all the posts on here too which has been hugely helpful in understanding what this company and others are getting up too.
  • Happened to me too - what an idiot.

I've had various email conversations with them and they are threatening to take money for the trial pots which arrived yesteray 3 DAYS AFTER I HAD CANCELLED. There was an Israel address on the package so I didn't sign for it and asked the courier who delivered it to send it back from whence it came - he said it would go back to the Isarael address. My Bank has stopped my card and sent a new one and the Visa Debit Disputes Dept for my Bank are monitoring my account and assured me that, should they try to take money from me, it will be immediately reimbursed. So far they have only managed to con me out of the postage for the trial pots.

Not sure how they can have posted the stuff from Israel when it only took a day to get to me - and the tracking number I used to check it out started from a UK location the same day it was supposedly shipped out.

Just shove it back in the post as return to sender...
Fact is you have cancelled and if they sent something out after. Well thats their fault.

Just do not waste any time or MONEY doing what the company are requesting.
If you really wanted to contact them. Email them advising that the goods will be avaiable to be picked up, from you, for the next 14 days by them at THEIR EXPENSE. Other wise they will be destroyed. As you cancelled the order before the goods were dispatched.

If they send anymore refuse delivery.

That's exactly what I did - my package had a label on it giving a return address in Israel - the courier said if I didn't want to sign for it, the package would be delivered back to where it came from (the Israel address) although I doubt it will go back there as it was sent from a UK location (I have a screenshot of the tracking details - definiitely started from the UK). I did cancel the same day I ordered but they still decided to send me the stuff - which as Dalesrider says 'it's their fault'.

They did send me an email saying 'You return your products to a different address at your own peril as we will not be able to process your return and you will get charged for the products'.

However, as I asked the courier to return the goods to the place from which they came and the return address was in Israel, I feel I have complied with their request.

    Thanks wealdroam

But their T&C's say don't send kit to the London address. I'm thinking if I haven't signed for the product they can't prove that I have received it! Luckily as yet I have not been charged the full price for the kit and I've authorised my bank not to give payments to this company. I did cancel the order but they say it was too late and I've cancelled the refills on my account page.

    Yes, that's exactly me too.

UPDATE: my credit card company has charged back on every single penny these robbing !!!!!!!s took.....i have got every penny back from both deadsea and dermajuvenate.

Deadsea are a blacklisted company by MBNA...there is no dispute according to them, They just claw the money back in.

Do as they suggest in terms and conditions and email the companies with requests to cancel recurring orders..email as many addresses as you can find for them and keep your replies.

Contact your bank and inform them you have cancelled and have proof and ask for it to go to dispute.

I have cancelled the auto-refill by logging into my account - in fact, I cancelled it before I even ordered the FREE trial. I also took a screenshot to prove I had done this. They have no reason to send me any auto-refills. I also double-checked with my Debit Card's Dispute Dept yesterday and they have assured me that, should any money be taken from my account, they will immediately reimburse me.

As you have had your money reimbursed, this should hopefully let everyone know that they will not be out-of-pocket - the Banks are on top of it.

    Good News folks! :j
After numerous failed attempts via email to get a refund from Dead Sea Kit & Collagenta, I nearly gave up, so I threatened them with taking them to the small claims court and still they continued to send the same 'scripted' emails, so I did. It cost me £25 to put in a claim giving their London address. They didn't reply so I asked for judgement to be made and 2 weeks later I got two emails stating I would be refunded and then a complete refund into my bank!

    So...don't give up! :T

Can you give me the London address you gave them. You went to the small claims court and it cost £25 and you got a result. Did you ring the small claims court or did you have to go to see them. I would be grateful if you could help me with this as I paid out £195.67 in total to the robbing b..........s and I would like to get it back.
