  • Hello,

Many thanks, I too have been scammed, fortunately, I looked it up on the internet before the trial period was up, and I cancelled my credit card. They made me an offer of £45.00 In the meantime, they actually debited my account for two lots of postage! Their London website has an English distrubutor, yet they tell you to return it to Israel, the bloody cheek. I will not be returning it to Israel, and I have stopped my card!! I will definitely be telling Trading Standards about them, I am surprised with all the complaints that they have not had their Visa Merchant revoked. Scammers make me sick to the pit of my stomach, I would love for a consumer progamme to do an expose on them, lets find out who theses con menrchants really are!!

The co are not doing anything wrong. It is all laid out in their T/C what they will charge you for.

    They already have many times.....

Yet still people fall for the promise of FREE TRIAL.... Which is exactly what you get.
The ability to try the product for 14 days. if you do not like it then you follow the instructions in their T/C cancel and return the goods and you do not get charged.
Failure to do so will see you billed the full price for the product, as per their T/C....

Nice and slickly worded advertising :D

I hate these companies as much as anyone else, but the truth is people FAIL to read exactly what they are signing up for.

If the product was so good, they would be sending you the sample for FREE.... The fact they ask for your card details is the giveaway.

Yes you are quite right there, how can you find out you like the product if you can't try it and have to send it back unused to an address in Israel which doesn't seem to exist. I wrote to that address in Israel to complain that I am allergic to the beauty products and that I should be refunded for them and that I couldn't send them back as I'd used them. Of course, no reply, as they don't seem to exist. Boots are a fan of this company and advertise them on Facebooks. I always write in their blog that D S Marketing is a scam company. I tried to get this DEAD SEA KIT on Don't get done get Dom but they are on a break at the moment. There is a program on TV in the mornings actually called Scammed I think, I'll have to look into that. I tried the ASA but they only tell the company to make their T&C easier to understand. I've written to my local MP and he has sent a letter to Trading Standards Service on my behalf and will send me the response from the Minister when he receives it. I don't know what else to do. We must stop this happening. They also advertise using a different name for their Beauty products to try and dupe some more customers.

What's funny is how in the before and after examples on their site, they've photoshopped the model so far into oblivion she looks barely human.

The models haven't used the products, they are just part-time actresses and the pictures are airbrushed I should think. On Facebooks there is another advert now for Revelle which looks just like the scam company Dead Sea Beauty Kit, only they are asking for testers. If you like the products they cost a fortune and I bet there is no listing of ingredients on the pots of goo. I am still trying to find someone on an appropriate television programme to expose these companies before any more of us are duped out of our hard earned money. I will let you know if I can find someone to take this on.
