I have now been told that the Israel address is non-existant. People are having the packets returned...that explains why they want your address on the outside of the packet!!!! I didn't put my address as I had a feeling this might happen.

  • They are advertising again on Facebook with Cindy Crawford I think ,under women's health trends , again same format.more people are being taken in by this scam !!!
  • On Facebook again with heading of Boots uk . Have contacted Boots as this needs to to get big companies to do something , they are aware and they have had complaints but they have stopped it on Facebook but looks like they are back again !!!
  • These Dead Sea Products are a total Scam. Apply for a"Chargeback" refund from your Bank urgently - most people get one - and ask them to issue a new card. Complain to Advertising Standards Authority - they are still in breach of an upheld complaint: Ref A12-202609 of 28 Nov 2012. Complain to the UK supplier for DS Marketing "The Fulfilment Store"in Rugby, UK, on 01788545555. Complain to Citizens Advice Bureau on 08454040506. Complain to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040. Complain to your local TradingStandards Office. All of these organisations can be emailed if you want to save money on phone calls.

The goods supplied are in breach of The Cosmetic Products(Safety) Regulations 2008. Because... They do not have an ingredients list on the product or in the packaging and there is no leaflet supplied. There is no manufacturer's address. There is no batch number present on any of the three items, and there is no expiry date. You should therefore consider them to be unsafe to use.

I am another person who sadly has been caught out here . I thought I was having a "free" trial but have ended up with two lots of £84.71 debited to my Mastercard (which I only found out about when I got my montly statement), and then another two lots of charges of £89.66 for the second shipments 2 weeks later.

When I got an email saying "your next product is out for delivery" I immediately rang "The Makers of Lit Serum" (on 0203 355 7059) and was told it was too late to stop the deliveries of the second 2 products. I said I would return them but was told we don't accept returns. The only option was they would give me a "discount" if I didn't contact Trading Standards as I had mentioned them (and I haven't contacted Trading Stds). They have applied some discount but I haven't received either of the second set of products and am currently owing over £200!

Can I apply for chargebacks? Are there any other options? Any help would be very much appreciated.

The answers you are looking for are in the thread, but in summary, yes you can ask your card issuer to consider a chargeback..

Well there are only 2 options of chargeback.
One if you have told the company or your bank to cease the agreement.
Two you have not recieved any goods 15 days after debit.
    No other chargeback rights apply.

    Not another STOP THE CARD.....
It does not stop them from them from taking payments. They just request the new card details via the visa system.
I do understand that the mastercard system is better and when a stop is placed on there, they cannot get the new card details. But that relies on your ensuring your card provider updates it. Not that they just call to stop the card.

So how do you use that info?
Certainly makes no diffrence to getting your money back via your card provider.
