Did you follow that advice?
Have you written any letters?
Have you considered chargeback?0 -
Hi All, this is my first post on this site. I joined so that I could say a big, big thank you to you all. I too fell for the advert without checking properly first and thanks to this site ( which I checked immediately after instead or before...dah! ) I was able to protect myself and refer the whole sorry tale to the relevant authorities. I am so grateful that people like you take the time and trouble to share this type of information. I only wish that there was a better way to protect the more vulnerable people who often have to rely on Internet shopping. Anyway, I'm very grateful. All the best to everyone.0

Thanks for the advice in previous posts. I have done most of that apart from written letters as there isn't any address to send them to.
I too have now been threatened with there fraud dept!!
"We cannot issue a refund for the Dead Sea Beauty Kit and our Fraud dept wants to contact your bank about the Serum that you kept and did not pay for it.
We could allow you to keep the serum at the lowest price(we as a Customer support agents are trying everything to help YOU out, we do not want this case to escalate to our Fraud dept).
We're willing to let you keep the product only at 24.95 GBP
Sincerely,
Alex"
I've reported the company to Trading Standards today and been assured by them they will investigate.0 -

.
Well as someone who deals with the banks side of this.
All I can say is :rotfl:
Seriously, as far as the bank goes. These co's are well known and only if they had signed proof that you recieved the goods would DSK have any sort of grounds to get the money back.
So rest easy....Never ASSUME anything its makes a>>> A55 of U & ME <<<0 -

What did your bank/card issuer have to say about your chargeback request?0 -
Thanks for replies.
Yes I did miss that post with uk address.
Think I've pretty much gone as far as I can get speaking to them about it anyhow.
My cc is investigating it now and seemed to know all about the company!0 -
Dont worry about them threatening the fraud department .. They just trying to scare you into keeping the creams at a reduced price ...
They iold me if I keep the stuff beyond the 14 days and not pay for it they will get fraud department onto me hahaha
They shouldn't have sent me full size jars and serum then should they if they were worried about not getting it back .. I mean what do they do with the returns ?? surely they must be destroyed or not in the case of this company I wonder !!!
Anyway just make sure your bank has cencelled the payments and email them to say the creams have been returned to Israel end of .......
I also notice their facebook adverts are no longer on ....0 -
So, I am in Canada and fell for this scheme too. Not the free trial part....I was aware of the charges if I chose to keep the creams, but I was not aware of the shipping back to Isreal part. I don't know if the UK T & C are different, but our say you have to take a pic of your shipping label or postage receipt. I am not sending this crap back to Isreal. I have cancelled my card, plan to keep the horrible cream and listen to them whine about my credit card cancellation. Doubt they can really do anything....but has anyone not sent the goo back and had any real reprecussions after you stop payments at the bank?0

They won't whine about the cancelled card..
They just get the new card details from Visa/Mastercard and carry on billing you :rotfl:
When will people learn....
Stopping a card does not stop them from debiting.
Cant advise anymore than talk to your bank/card provider and get the proper advice for Canada.Never ASSUME anything its makes a>>> A55 of U & ME <<<0 -
