My two least favourite things in the world in that Quote. "IE" and "Windows". Mac and Safari/Chrome for the win :P

IE was installed by default. Macs I don't really rate. Linux is much preferred. Windows 8 Professional was completely free for me, so tis all good

Besides, this is a thread on Aqua credit cards, not operating systems/browsers

They should inform you at the end of your call.

Does anyone know if I receive a refund, does that count as a payment
i.e. to clear statement balance in full can I deduct the refund or do I still need to pay the full statement balance.
I have asked Aqua but you guys will probably be 2-3 ays quicker.
I understand companies operate diferently on this.

A few years ago somebody started a thread on your exact question

I would play it safe and clear the balance with a payment and use the refund to mak further purchases

I will probably play it safe as I want the £100 cashback, but I'm pretty sure one of my other cards reduces the balance to be paid. I can't remember exactly which one as I don't have refunds that often. I'll let you know what they say.

It would if you get your refund before the statement date !!

In the printed statement that I received, refunds were shown as CR. Other payments that I made are also shown as CR. 'Your closing balance' figure took all those into account.
If your refund is not shown as CR, its is probably because it was too close to the statement date to be included. So you are right to play it safe and pay the figure shown as 'your closing balance'.

No sorry, I mean after statement has been generated but BEFORE payment date. I do not use Direct debit, so it's a manual (faster) payment.
I am certain I had one card (possibly cap one, possibly EGG) that took refunds into account for interest pursposes i.e. clearing entire statement balance.

I guess this depends on how they "allocate" the refund for interest purposes (I only have purchases, no cash or BTs).

Just thought I would update everyone regarding a limit increase letter that I received today.

I originally got the card in July and got an Initial £250 limit.

I got a letter today stating as I had managed my card well the limit would be increasing to £600 which is not too bad considering the website says must wait 6 months before applying for a limit increase.

how exactly did u manage your account? did u use less than 50% of your limit and pay it off in full every month? Please share,it will be a guidance for everyone. Thanks x
