Received my cheque today and in the same post a letter from the ombudsman stating that they had informed AQUA of my complaint and would take action if the matter was not sorted out.
The Boss and Starline had stated that I would be wasting the Ombudsmans time but have now ben proved wrong.
I will be writing to thank the Ombudsman after my cheque has been cleared at my bank.
During one of my many phone calls to AQUA I had told them that I would be informing the ombudsman and they offered me £20 in compensation for the delay. I accepted this and it was paid into my bank 2 days later.
I have now got my cheque plus the £20 ---well pleased.0 -

My cheque arrived too. Surprised to see they refunded the interest they charged for a late payment (wrongly IMO). Didn't have to contact them to get it.0

I got mine today. I definitely think that complaint mentioned above wasted the ombudsman office's time.0
