Got my cheque too. But I still have a credit balance as I paid off the final statement (on their advice!). I guess I just sit tight for my remaining £300

Mine came yesterday for the full amount.
Now I need them to fully close the account so that it shows as closed on my credit record. Good while it lasted for the 3% discount but I will now get a mainstream card with a measly 0.5%.Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. I have always had a Barclay world MasterCard that paid 1% cashback although I have now been informed that as from May I will get two cards an American express card that pays 1% and a visa card that gives 0.5%. both from Barclays and I am not even a customer of Barclays but got these cards because I was an ex EGG customer.

I got my cheque today without wasting the ombudsman office's time, indicating that I have been proved right.
I did make a 10 minute phone call to the ombudsman and yes it would seem I would have got my cashback anyway but all those that asked the ombudsman to speed things up have received a nice letter of apology from Aqua explaining the delay and £20. I will also thank the ombudsman and pleased you was proved right and saved Aqua £20

I got a £20 apology too! But without the ombudsman. My gripe was not the lack of cheque as such but the obvious lies every time I spoke to them previously.

Thankfully, I have also received my cashback cheque. However, when I took it to my bank for depositing, the cashier told me that the serial number of the cheque was not getting accepted, and so they couldn't accept the cheque. Has this happened to anyone else?0
