:rotfl:Just called Aqua, my cashback will be added to my account in due course, if a zero balance, then it's up to me to contact Aqua customer service and they will then credit my Bank Account with this amount. If I do nothing, they don't send a cheque - so check your account for a cashback credit!0

...which is contrary to what they've told everybody else in the letters they sent out.0 -
I only ask because I was told another form was being sent out, this was on the 22nd jan, no form received and just wondered if anyone else was in the same boat.
Lisyloo not quite sure why your post sounds so abrupt, don't know why my question appears to have wound you up!
I didn't read it as that abrupt, but that's my reading! The trouble with online text is that you never really know. Ruins my sarcasm as well.
My account is going to be closed but online it still says £500 limit and £470 available. It's probably their poor online systems. Nothing more than that.
If you haven't received a letter from 22nd January you'll probably have to ring and ask them to send another one.0 -
Absolutely, letter said 2 weeks after account closure which was on the 22nd January meaning the cashback should have been paid on 5th February. I've left £100 balance on my acccount hoping the cashback would clear before my payment due date but now looks like i'll have to clear the balance beforehand to prevent incurring any interest charges & trying to arrange for a cheque or bank transfer but i fear its going to be alot of bother.0

I asked what your concern was so that the forum community could try to address it.
You post hasn't wound me up at all in fact I was trying to help you.
Sorry I can't help you because I don't know what this form is and I daren't ask for fear of someone jumping down my throat for asking.
Bye bye0 -
Who are you saying bye bye to?0

Why are people expecting to *receive* their cashback approximately 2 weeks after closure? Aqua have never said that.
"If you choose not to transfer and your account is closed, any cashback you've earned will be paid into your account approximately 2 weeks after closure. If this payment moves your account into credit, the difference will be paid to you by cheque".
There is no timescale as to when the cheque will be sent or received. It's free money so it's worth waiting for.
I signed the form to keep my card active. Just as a backup in addition to my Halifax Clarity card when going abroad as in no fees and no loading.0 -

What is the definition of "account is closed" ? I assumed that would be the 22nd of January when I couldn't use it any more. In that case it's been nearly 3 weeks and the only credit to the account since the closure is me paying off the balance.0 -
They said "approximately 2 weeks" which could be interpreted as several weeks leeway I suppose.0

I agree with you the physical cheques will take longer to print and send. What is the definition of "account is closed" ? I assumed that would be the 22nd of January
I had assumed/read it that we'd get cashback approx 2 weeks after 22nd Jan.
If they are waiting for us all to settle our accounts first, then those of us hoping to avoid the lengthly cheque processs by creating a debit balance will be dissapointed :-(
I won't suffer financially but it would be nice to have it all done and dusted.
I have messaged them.0
