I find the card much easier to use now I've set it up to pay them via internet banking, rather than having to pay via a debit card and key in 16 digits each time, plus address etc.

Transactions seem to get processed quicker and I suspect you can increase you credit limit for larger purchases by paying in advance via that method.

Well I'm locked out of my new account on the first attempt. For the first time I can empathise my technologically befuddled mother!:D

Nope... not working now... But the site is as slow as the old one was, so I guess they're on their way to get it working as well as it did before. :)

I managed to re-register, but still can't login.
Sorry, an unexpected error has occurred...
I wonder whom is it unexpected to? Everybody seems to be expecting it on both sides.

The service is not available. Please try again later.
That usually implies a server is being reset.

Or a small dove is crying.

They're misleading you a little bit there.

Whilst there's an element of truth in that your total available credit is taken into consideration when assessing your initial limit, initial limits from Aqua are notoriously worse than competitors and subsequent increases are based on your Aqua account conduct.

That is a sensible reply and yes! they also raised my limit to £550 which suits me fine as I normally pay back using faster payments within 2 to 3 days of using my card.

Indeed, it's great that they take faster payments, I've in fact spent as much as £1,500 during one statement period without going over my limit or putting the card into credit thanks to their accepting faster payments.

Just a little frustrating that I can't make any single purchases over £250 on the card or use it for my holiday but that's cool, Metro Bank will come to save the day :)
