Hi - I've tried to re-register and failed - any chance you could reveal the 020 number?

Alternative numbers, care of saynoto0870 are:
    029 2081 8079 or 0800 0286666

you won't get 3k with aqua i think the maximum is 1600 i now have 1500 from my opening limit of 250 so they do seem to increase it every few months if you run it well.

The maximum initial limit is £1,600 but it can increase from there, it just means you won't be given more than £1,600 as a new customer.

But it's going to be a heck of a long time before the £250 limit I've currently got goes that high... if I keep the card that long.

Couple weeks I'll open a Metrobank bank account :o
    Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

I'm in the same boat, awful £250 limit which they won't increase! Odd thing is, I had an Aqua when I had a poor rating a few years ago, limit was £3,050 when I closed it! Go figure.

I'll keep the card, as cashback on zero fee foreign spend is unheard of, but luckily I've got the Clarity & Select cards with normal limits to see me through more than a single day abroad! :D

Tried re-registering myself and got the same 'unexpected error'. Hopefully will sort itself by tomorrow.

When I requested a higher limit they pointed out as I had other credit cards. This meant I could possibly be in debit to the totals allowed on my other cards. This is how the decided on the limit on my Aqua card. They tell me if I got rid of some of my other cards I would get a higher limit on the Aqua card

The number I was given was 02078710464. There is an announcement you are through to Opus Card Services and you are requested to key in your credit card number.

planteria says it is a Capital One card.

The best cashback from Capital One according to Martin is with their Aspire World card

    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/credit-cards/cashback-credit-cards

I calculate that would require an annual spend of £308,400 to attain a cashback of £3800

To put that into perspective, that equates to an average spend on their credit card of over £25k per month.

I wonder how large their credit limit is?

Or perhaps if this was just another journey into the realms of fantasy

The alternative when they said 'hit Cap One for £3,800' was that they got cashback on £3,800 and thereby didn't appreciate the fact that Aqua stopped giving cashback after £3,333.33. If this is true, they also didn't understand that the Aqua Reward is the best possible card if you're going to spend this much in one year.

Capital One would have given them £18 for that spend.
