oh i thought 1600 was the maximum thanks for the information. i suppose like most CC they might not have a limit now or perhaps i just read 250 -1600 limit when i applied and assumed 1600 was the maximum credit limit.0

I think it was the maximum back about 1 year ago.
So that's probably where you got it from.
From what I've seeen on this long thread it seems to be more common to have a much lower limit.0 -
I got £1,600 when I first opened the account 5 months ago. Seems I'm in the minority, however this is the lowest limit I've ever had on the card. Most of them are about 7K however Barclaycard gave me an intial limit of £16,500 which totally shocked me.:eek::eek::eek:0

Haha. My Amex charge card will let me spend a ridiculous amount as well. I actually managed to buy an Audi with it.0 -
Like many others I have today re-registered for online use. Was told registration was successful but unable to access website. Usual 0845 number offered up to call but decided to try again later. Second attempt also failed although on this occasion an 020 number was offered for help. Tried that number and reached Opus Card Services!!! Anybody know what they've got to do with Aqua?0

planteria says it is a Capital One card.
The best cashback from Capital One according to Martin is with their Aspire World cardCashback is paid at 0.5% for all spending under £6,000 during the year. 1% is paid on all spending between £6,000 and £10,000, and all spending above £10,000 attracts the full 1.25% cashback.
I calculate that would require an annual spend of £308,400 to attain a cashback of £3800
To put that into perspective, that equates to an average spend on their credit card of over £25k per month.
I wonder how large their credit limit is?
Or perhaps if this was just another journey into the realms of fantasy :cool:0 -
Is anybody able to log on at the moment0

Hi - I've tried to re-register and failed - any chance you could reveal the 020 number?0 -
