The only problem I see with that is they state a payment could take 2 - 3 days to process, but other than that, I believe you to be correct.

I asked when I activated my card, they said you could make a payment before your statement arrives to spend more. They said wait 2 or 3 days after making a payment, to make sure it had cleared. They said I could check if it had cleared with the internet site.
  • Aquacard.co.uk now points to the Marbles card account servicing page, and the link on MSE to apply for the card (via MoneySupermarket) now goes to a 'page not found.'

I wonder if the Aqua card offer has now been pulled due to being oversubscribed with the numbers of people applying through MSE?
  • Closed down my M&S card this morning after the interest free period ended. I wasn't going to apply for another card for a few months but then I saw this Aqua cashback card and I thought why not, Aqua website seems to be working ok, and it looks like I have a limit of about £500.

You cannot argue with 3% cashback as long as you jump trough the hoops correctly.

I have just been "approved" for an Aqua Card. I have not yet sent back my agreement as like the majority it may be that my credit limit my be only 500 pounds and as I only wnated the card to use abroad 500 is not really enough.

Should I just accept and use at home or decline as I do not want another card for use here?

The credit limit may well be low, but where else will you get 3% cashback on all spending?

IMHO you'd have to be mad not to want one of these cards.

make sure you actually make at least the min payment AFTER the statement is generated.
Otherwise you can face a missed/late payment fee every though you paid early !!
Payments before the statement don't count for that statement period.
This is really important because apart from the £12 late payment fee and alte marker on your credit report, you may also forfeit you cashback.

Good to know, I've setup a direct debit, so that should cover that eventuallity.
  • My credit card bill is always ovr £1k a month as everything goes on the credit card to get 1% cash back.

Will just use this one for fuel :-) lovely 3%

I wonder how long did it take everyone to receive their card and pin after posting the credit agreement back? I sent mine about 2 weeks ago now and still haven't heard from them.

I sent my credit agreement back June 25, got a text from Aqua saying my card has been sent out on July 3. Still waiting for the card - although my pin code came yesterday. Hmmm.
