Hi everyone
I just thought I would share my story with you all about a rather bizarre experience I had in Asda car park a few weeks ago which upset me greatly. I have osteogenisis imperfecta (brittle bones) as a result of this I have a very severe kyphosis scoliosis which causes my upper spine to stick out a lot. Anyway my dad was getting me out of the car whle my mum got the wheelchair out the boot and this man in his late 50sish marches up to me and says I am faking my disability and thres Nothing wrong with me . I am to young to be disabled and must have got my blue badge fraudulently
My dad pointed out my conditions to him (thy are very obvious ) and the man said I must have stuffed something up my back to cause the hump!! I then told him to feel it he did and walked off saying I was a useless scrounger !!! I was so pest by this my parents had to take me home I'm still pretty upset now. Has anyone else experienced this sort of thing ?

I know I don't get where that attitude comes form. You can't be disabled until you hit retirement in their minds0

Tell 'em you'll bet them £100 to charity on your disability being genuine.
Should shut the cowards up. :cool:0 -

I had a friend with a brain tumour who i drove to the PO to collect her disability payments(some years ago) the woman behind the counter made disparaging remarks to her about the use of the blue badge and her disability payments as she could see there was nothing wrong with her, I obviously went in after she told me and created hell in front of a shop fullDo I need it or just want it.0

I always say, "Okay, I'll have your health, you have my Multiple Sclerosis, then you can have my badge" That usually does it!
Please don't be upset by these people they are just ignorant.
