how did u manage that? my local council requires a valid vehicle registration before issuing one?

The BB goes to the person not the vehicle. Responsibility has now changed and unless you automatically qualify under the DLA mobility criteria (and certain other criteria) it's your local authority who will determine if you qualify for a BB or not. Your GP will not be the first port of call!!!

I could paste quote after quote of examples of BB abuse/iffy disabilities etc in this thread alone and wonder if wheelchair dependency should also be compulsory to qualify, eliminating the mobile at a stroke.

    Wheelchair sales would rocket!

Ebay crips are going to flourish went PIP rolls out, all the people who are "so brave" and wont "give in" to wheelchair use will all of a sudden want a wheelchair asap.

You dont have a choice about wheelchair use when are so disabled you cant walk/stand anymore, its nothing to do with "bravery" or "giving up" but a no choice situation even when sitting is very painful.
