I agree wholeheartedly with the article and some of the pics I've seen of ladies in strapless dresses only serve to confirm the points made.

    All only imo of course.

I love the look of strapless dresses, but didn't want one, as having big boobs I know I wouldn't have felt comfortable and I would have looked huge in one, so mine had straps.

Not a fan, personally. Don't get the appeal.

  • I have never seen a strapless dress that looked good on a bride. If you're fat, you shouldn't choose this style - you will spill out of it and showing your arms is probably not the best idea. If you're thin, you risk having a gaping hole over your chest. All in all, I don't get the appeal.

I always thought it wouldn't because I hate ill-fitting ones that don't move with you when you turn. Having said that the dress I fell in love with is strapless! But it's been adjusted to fit me perfectly and as it's lace-up can be tightened more if I want. It may be ok on me because I have quite small boobs so can even get away with no bra (b cup :s )
  • When I went shopping for a dress, i was trying to avoid strapless dresses as I don't think they always look good. However, the one I selected has removable sleeves, so will haves sleeves in the day and be strapless at night. I only went for it though, because it fits like a dream and I am very small chested so it causes no problems there!

I didn't want strapless and found that the choice of dresses with straps was limited. I did however get a dress with straps, so it is possible! Strapless can look nice, but I didn't want to be pulling it up, have a gap at the top or spillage at the tops of arms! All avoided with my straps :)

I love my strapless dress, I found it the most flattering and the most special. However I have small boobs so perhaps this helps!
I am intrigued though- what is a uniboob?!

Generally happens to bigger boobs. It's where they get pushed together without any definition.

Is it that so many women want them, or that the shops are so dominated by strapless ones that you often have to hunt to find one with straps?
