Must admit I have doubts about Fiat. I used to have an Uno years ago. My last Fiesta was a workhorse which is why I'm leaning towards them. But don't you think that one is overpriced at £1695? I paid £300 for my last one.0

Some cars for you to have a look at;
Fiat Punto 1.2
Nissan Micra
Peugeot 206
Seat Ibiza
Vauxhall Corsa
Ford Fiesta
Ford KA
Nothing wrong with Fiats, they're as reliable as anything else as long as you look after them.0 -

Wow, thanks buscape, this is so helpful.
I'm interested in most of them. I don't have a car to get around but am going to hire one on Mon. I don't think I can hire one for tomorrow as most offices closed. I've got the day off on Monday to shop for a car. I think these are all about the right level of quality that I need, nothing to expensive but nothing awful either. Never considered a Micra but that one looks quite nice. Keep hearing bad things about the Ka but I think they're fine, especially the sport one.0 -
One of those sellers has this:

Never considered a Rover but seems good price..?0 -
I like this:

Is it normal to haggle, or not necessarily? the prices here seem good.0 -
And this Clio - not bad.

Had a look at the cars you've posted, the City Rover isn't a very good car, won't be much of a step up from your Fiesta to be honest. The SportKa and the StreetKa are nice cars.
That Clios overpriced, you could have this one for not much more cash.
This Seat looks good.
It's perfectly normal to haggle, the seller will be expecting it. I always consider the price on the advert to be a starting price0 -
Thanks for the advice. I don't mind haggling, it's just some dealers whack up the price way over what the starting price should be, and then it's difficult to haggle! So I just walk away.
The Clio looks good. Never driven one but I like the look of them. Seat looks bit boring - maybe it's the pic. I know they are pretty good value.
I've always liked the SportKa and StreetKa so maybe I'll start with them. Am going to see a few today but more tomorrow when I can get a hire car.:)0
