Third party cover - hit by another car

And whoever put the link to that Merc up, I despise you, I am going to sell my car in a couple of weeks and buy one.
Sorry!
Here's another if you want something a bit newer! I think fuel consumption will be in gallons to the mile rather than miles per gallon though with a 5.0 V8 in an armourplated jeep but check out the thickness of the windows! Very safe for the family!

Failing that, nice Volvo, just run in at 726,000 miles!!!

mmm nice drive but I don't seem to be getting very good mpg. Seems worse than my old Fiesta, which was ten years older than this one but 1.4. I suppose to be expected with the 1.6L? Also noticed one of the back lights doesn't work. May just be a bulb..otherwise it suits me fine but I don't want to be too restricted going out cos of petrols costs.:o0

Fords have never been econimical (well they are getting better now) a 1.6 petrol was never going to be that great and you did pick the sporty model.
A bulb should cost about £3 from a motorfactors, try that before anything alse0 -

Yes, I fell for the sporty one. My friend told me to get a Citroen C1 but I just couldn't briing myself to drive something that ugly.:D
Thanks, will try a bulb first. Maybe get it online.0 -
I've just swapped tail light bulb over from the other side and it works, so it is the bulb. Next conundrum for me, which bulb to buy? lol I think it's this but the SportKa doesn't come up in any searches, just StreetKa or Ka. It is 53 plate 2003. I think it's this but the bulbs look slightly different shape to the one I took out. It should be a 5w. I'm confused by these being tail and stop lights?! sorry, never bought bulbs for a car before!

Have a look on the metal part of the bulb, there will be a code on there which will tell you what kind of bulb you need.0

OK thanks. I'll get someone to look at it as my eyes can't read anything that small!0

Hi
Just wanted to say I can't get over how much I love driving my new SportKa!
Got the bulb by googling the long number on it by the way - all working fine, thanks.:j
It's perfect for the area I live (semi-rural) and for about town as well. It's great fun to drive but has already got my mind wondering what my next car might be.:D. I love it's stylishness and handling, and it's quite powerful.
I am making a claim on the third party as I have had bad neck pain ever since the accident, though I had neck problems before so it may not only be that. At a guess she was doing 20-25 mph when she ran into the back of me. My doc said it won't have helped. am having some physio today.:). The solicitor said I can try and recoup the other costs as well, the hire car etc. Will take a few weeks but I should get something.0
