and how much was 6 sessions ?

I paid for each session singly so it cost £95 for each go, if you prepay a package its much cheaper but I didn't have the cash in one go.
For my top lip it is costing £65 a session but bear in mind in both places mine is very thick and coarse so the area to treat is larger than if you just have a few patches :rotfl:

I keep thinking of having bikini line done. I'm very pale with dark strong coarse hair.

It should work well for you with that sort of skin type and hair colour. You could always pay for one treatment and see how you get on then decide if you want to complete the course.
It does take at least a week for it to start falling out, maybe longer with bikni area as the hair is coarse

I bought a tube of 'E45 Itch Relief' cream from Wilko, in desperation really never thinking an 'over the counter' cream would work, but it was worth every penny and really cured the itching: not just relieved it temporarily but took it away entirely!

I too have been treated at SK:N and am very happy with the results. I did a prepaid 6 sessions for chin, neck, upper lip for around £550. Best money I have ever spent. I have fairly pale skin and dark hair so found treatment effective. I recommend a couple of nurofen before the treatments as it definately reduces stinging! They do a test patch for about £25 and I could see the difference after that which inspired me to go on.

    I did think that.

But I've always used different brands, I'm a washing powder tart:rotfl:
But I've never shown any sensitivity to washing powder before & its only on the pary of my body I shave.

    Thanks

    hi floyd,

do you know what system sknclinic use?

I have heard that epilight is the best from this site (http://www.hairlaserremoval.co.uk/) however I don't know if the this site is really a consumer site - or a clever piece of marketing for epilight!

In other places I have heard that different systems are better - e.g. LightSheer.

There is so much contradiction on the web on this whole subject - I just want to go to the best place with the best treatment.

The suitability of the laser largely depends on the colour of your skin as certain wavelengths cannot be used on mid mediterranean skin whereas other are suitable for darker afro-carribean skin (this is still a sketchy area though).
Most clinics will try and tell you that their type is the better system so its hard to know who to believe.

I am not 100% sure which laser the Sk:n clinic I visit uses but i will have a look when I go on the 17th.

The best way of finding out which works for you is to get patch tested, maybe try a few different places if you are concerned but make sure you leave at least 4 weeks between each one and tell the therapist what you have had done and where.
