Hi
Is anyone using this method and if so, how much are you paying per session?
According to the beautician, I have skin colour grade #4 which isn't suitable for most laser hair removal techniques, but my doctor has referred me to Blemishes in Manchester who charge £100 per session *ouch*"There are only two lasting bequests we can hope to give our children; one of these is roots, the other wings" - Hodding Carter

Check out hairfacts.com - it is predominantly a US site, but you find some Brits lurking in the forums, and you can generally get very helpful advice.
Afraid to say, £100/session doesn't sound an unusual price, though I reckon these laser places are making an absolute killing (moneywise at least - - not so sure about the hair!!!)
(PS. the owner of the site is a transgender, so he/she knows what hair removal entails, and the site has been going for several years)0 -
£100 isn't bad I paid £200 a session. that was more painful than the hair removal!!!!!!0

Hi This is my first post, but finally something I can help with! I live in Dundee Scotland, and our local hospital runs a Laser hair removing service where the money paid is put back into research. They charge £60 per 15min session. Maybe it is worth contacting your local hospital to see if they run any service similar? Good Luck!New comp-a-holic!!:j

I wouldn't even try the lazer machine from Argos it's just a money wasting gadget, I have bought lot of hair removal systems and they never work.
I am currently recieving lazer treatment on my chin and upper lip and from the 1st session got a fantastic result, on my 3rd one now and hardly anything is appearing through. I used to pluck everyday so I have had to persever waiting for the hairs to reappear which I believe to be is 12 cycle.
I know it is expensive but the result and confidence it has given me is great, and I am not as conscious and hiding my face now.
Pricey though at £70 a treatment or £356 for 6 treatment but it depends what we want as individualsbecame debt free December 060 -
Have you tried epil-pro if laser is expensive for you right now? £10-£15 will do lip/chin and odd hairs on face neck etc.
Not as immediately permanent as Laser - but does slow it down considerably.
Also, how big a problem si it? - if seriously affecting your mental state/ life NHS will consider - ask your GP?0
