I have a friend and she grows hers back before she will go for her smear.

Nurse did pass some comment first time, I just said do you shave your arm pits? :D Personal choice. I'm so used to being waxed there I forget about it.

Good job the boys aren't joining in with this thread.
haha, well i think i would feel less exposed if i had just a bit down there so was thinking of growing a little, but like you i'm just so used it that it irritates me to have anything!!
I think i'd just go bright red if the nurse mentioned anything! was she youngish or oldish? Nice comment back to her though :D LOL

She was oldish. probably about ready to start shaving her top lip.

Once my beautician was ill for quite a while and I had to go to another salon. I was going to have a brazilian but the young girl made it wonky. So I just " take it all off it'll grow back." never will forget the look on her face. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

  • LMAO. Thought she must've been oldish, probably went home to tell her husband about what today's youngins get up to! shocking!:rotfl:

can't believe you actually get it waxed though! must hurt like hell? plus, is it not totally embarrassing? I love to be able to have the courage to do that, it would beat having to shave every damn day!
  • Rikki, it's an utter disgrace that the nurse passed comment on what you choose to do with your own body hair! For heaven's sake.

Don't grow it back for a smear test! I imagine the best person to ask about all the variations in styling would be the nurse! Or a gynocologist...
May all your dots fall silently to the ground.

Embarrassment doesn't come into it after having 2nd baby delivered by 2 male paramedics.:rotfl: :rotfl:

Gets easier the more times you do it.

I have had the same beautician for 14 years there are no secrets now. ;)

I think once you've had children and you've been prodded and poked by so many people you loose some of you inhibitions.

  • LOL. I guess it shows that I haven't had any children & have actually only bared my bits once in my whole life & that was for my first smear!
Might not bother to grow it back then for the occasion! Just let her be shocked [& run out hoping I'll never have to see her again! :p]

    but...ouch! waxing!
