LOL
I use warm wax, but with either type, you have stretch the skin as much as possible. For the bikini line, you need to be double-jointed ... bend your foot up to your groin and push the knee out so it's on the floor .. think of a Yoga positionAnd then, use one hand to pull the skin out towards the hip.
Finally - you need to rip the strip as quickly as possible. This takes some practice. Don't be shy, don't hesitate ... give a very fast "rip"!
Underarms can be tricky too as the hair tends to grow in different directions - one rip "up", one rip "down" and possibly one at an angle is needed.
There's a technique that professionals are trained in. If you DIY, you need to be very confident and very careful! Or simply pay up and go to the salonWarning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac0 -

LOL so true! I once tried using warm wax to wax my bikini line & oh my goodness...never again!!! It's pure torture, it brought blood to the surface & hurt for a long time after. Also left a really red mark which did not look good!!! It didn't even work that well. I just stick to shaving using a good razor & shaving gel.0 -
Gingham_Ribbon wrote:Since you mention Brazilians, bethom, I did wonder how far others go? Just to the knicker line? More? Less? I'm curious because if you believe that catwalk and underwear models are anything to go by, then we should all have smooth as a baby's bum parts and I just don't believe that's the case! (Anyone remember the Ben Elton sketch? - I don't think I can repeat it on here.)
I don't do it as a fasion thing or to keep up with latest trends, so to keep this clean I shall just say it is personal preference.:)I live in my own little world, but it's ok as everyone knows me here0 -
Didn't mean to imply that I disagreed with your choice! Just wondered if everyone does something different when they erm attend to the area!!!May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0

Sorry I think I have worded a bit wrong, it is really easy to misunderstand people with just words. I realised you didn't disagree with my choice, I was just pointing out that I am not one for following so called fashions.:) I like being my own person.I live in my own little world, but it's ok as everyone knows me here0

Just like the hair on your head. Some have long and some short. One style doesn't suit all.
It'll be a bit of a shock if it grows back and its gone grey.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4.............................NCFC member No: 00005.........
