  • You MUST have given your bank details to at least one company. They have not just conjured your details out of thin air.

You must now write to them RECORDED DELIVERY to get your money back, as outlined in numerous threads on this forum. Emailing is useless.

I applied for a loan about a week ago with a broker called Loan Solutions who then put me in touch with the lender,
I don't see how you would have got that far that Loan Solutions passed your details onto ANYONE before you gave up your account details.

On the application page it has a tick box to say you have read and understood the T&C's. When you read those you would have seen....
    3. Fees
3.1 You will pay us a fee equivalent to a minimum of £59.99 or a maximum of 10% of the loan value to provide the services under these terms of business.
Interestingly I googled Loan Solutions and automatically clicked the first reply.... it took me back to an MSE post warning people not to go near them. That post was higher up the Google rankings than their own website :rotfl::rotfl:

Makes me wonder how you ended up there in the first place, along with the validity of your claim not to have divulged any bank details.
  • Hi,

I am from Greenleaf property services which also had previously a company called greenleaf financial services LTD, this is not got anything to do with our company is a completely separate company 'greenleaf finance ltd' who are obviously scamming people, although you are all entering your card details !!

    03001232040

    reference number:NFRC120600368967

  • Do not take out loans with Green Leaf Finance Ltd, on the Companies House webcheck, the address :
    GREEN LEAF FINANCE LTD
    c/o BUSINESS FISH
    SUITE 18032 LOWER GROUND FLOOR
    145-157 ST. JOHN STREET
    LONDON
    ENGLAND
    EC1V 4PW

When there is address with a Suite Number, it is usually a scam.

I like that - Suite 18032, Lower Ground Floor.

That means it's a PO box in the cellar.

  • Section 155 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 provides that brokers can only charge £5.00 if no 'suitable' loan is found.

The 'suitability' of the loan is entirely at the discretion of the customer.

Therefore write to the loan company quoting the above legislation and request a refund less £5.00.
