Hello everyone,

Please help us! A month or two ago my partner tried to get a payday loan, silly I know but we are in a lot of financial difficulty and it was our only option. We did not visit a webpage entitled Green Leaf Finance Ltd however a few days later money had gone from our account to them - he did not get a loan from them, instead they took his money. I have searched and searched for an email address or even a website for them but have found nothing.

Please help if you can, our rents overdue and we really need our money back.

Thank you

Which website did he enter all his bank account details on?
They didn't guess it, he gave them out to someone

How can you not have found a website for them?

Simply put their name into Google and there they are - complete with other sites complaining about them.

    Website: http://greenleaffinance.co.uk

    Customer Services Email: customer@greenleaffinance.co.uk

However, put your complaints in good old fashioned writing by recorded delivery letter to:

    Green Leaf Finance Ltd
    35 St. Paul's Square
    Birmingham
    B3 1QX

Someone helpful will put up the template letter to send which I can't find at the moment.

Yes I got done too on saturday - there was £56 in my account and was using the money to pay for something by debit card; card was declined because these thieves had taken my money. thankfully I had the cash to pay but then had to wait for a while before my statement showed who the culprits were - I dont ever remember giving them my details but guess it was past on by another broker, which they shouldnt do. On the dog n bone tomorrow morning to give somebody sweet M.H.
  • Hi.

This has happened to me, they took money from my account yesterday. Halifax told me nothing can be done about it and I need to try get intouch with the company and deal with them directly. Yet the phone is no good, emails get no response...
And the thing is.... I never even gave them my bank details I've only had my new bank card since may, and have only used it for stuff such as ebay , amazon and asda online shopping!....

I do not get how they can get away with doing this to people, and I dont get how they have managed to get hold of my bank card details! I'm disgusted!! I have emailed watch dog this evening given them all the details.. .I suggest anybody in the same situation does so aswell, it's about time something got done about companys like this..

Stealing from people and getting away with it!! If I was to go walk into a shop and walk out with 49.99GBP worth of goods, would they just say '' Ohh shes left now leave her '' Hell No they'd be on the phone to the police quicker than I could run down the street!!

Like Apples said, they dont guess your card details, or if they did they had a guess in 1,000,000,000,000,000 !!!!!

More to the point, have YOU done anything to get your money back? Or are you just sitting there hoping it will magically reappear in your account, or are you sitting on your jacksie doing nothing and letting them get away with it?

You CAN get your money back if you are prepared to do a little work as explained in numerous posts on this Forum. I did it on behalf of my son within two weeks!

So your son sat on his jacksie then? :rotfl: Just asking! ;)

No, he was in Afghanistan on a six month tour of duty. One night, he was trying to price loans for a car and fell into this trap. I had charge of his finances whilst he was away so was able to do it for him.

There's a whole thread on it:
